I am completely in a repeat song mode on Zaroorat from Ek Villain cause somehow each time I hear it I start liking it more than I did previously. It's probably a Mustafa Zahid thing , because I remember I had the same problem with Tere bina , hum jee lenge from Murder2\3 or I dont know 4 or something π. The minute the instruments and Zahids voice's amped up a notch or two from the lines " Tanhaai kyaa ashk mitaaye yahaan..." and goes straight into the chorus , suddenly the song from its mundane monotone "yeh mere dil kaa jaana..." bursts into its firework moment and suddenly your heart does a jump and you start loving the song , and start repeating it cause the more you repeat it , the more you start liking it. And somehow , I had the same problem with Zaroorat. Starts with the monotone " yeh dil tanhaa kyun raahe..." and then suddenly the guitar and Zahid's voice intensifies in its star moment from "Mein adhoora jee raha hoon.." and you have the exact same response with your heart making a sudden jump especially when the music follows it out with that beautiful Arabic sort of tune carrying the chorus out , and then you hear it again because you know you're going to like it even more the more you hear it. π I think it's like one of the main side effects or features of Zahid's music. I don't know. But I'm falling more and more in love with Zaroorat , especially the lyrics , like the part where Zahid says " mein khud par hi ek sazza hoon" or the part that reminds you of Rockstar when Zahid sings " karde mujhe yaahan khud se rihaa" , since a song of Rockstar's had similar lyrics.. . Oh well , I guess it is just the woes and side effects of his songs. Anyone on the same boat? π
