Well, he is a three time winner of Tamil Nadu State Award for his acting and three time winner of Filmfare award for best actor, not counting the countless other awards he has won and has been nominated for. His popularity is on par with the Khans down South and he is associated with many philantrophic endevours there.

Besides, he has given atleast a dozen hit and superhit films in his career and endorses more brands than Bebola and Nawab together do.

No issues with Kareena stating her reasons for not doing regional movies...in fact, her honesty is refreshing, but to dismiss a much more talented, established and successful regional actor in such a high-handed manner simply reinforces her arrogant image.

^The tone of whatever she said amounted to that! And its hard to believe that Kareena doesn't know who Surya is?

her tone seemed fine to me..she said she didn't know him and that she never met him. How is that hard to believe?..it's not like he works in Bollywood.

But she and Suriya are the younger brand ambassadors of Malabar Gold! 😆 their posters together are plastered everywhere in the city.

That tells how much research she does about her brands.

And she is just exposing her ignorant self when she speaks about being aware of the work done in South Indian cinema and she doesn't know Suriya, the one of the biggest leading actors there.

Yeah, as if someone is offering you Hollywood films! You know you won't step out of the Bollywood because that's your comfort zone, the nepotism you enjoy ends there. With South or Hollywood, you'll be treated as an outsider which I'm sure you can't handle.
