but she was a prostitute in it, the song took place in a brothel. and the dialogue inbetween her and ranbir where he says something about package rate. but theres nothing wrong in this. she's an actress. theres nothing wrong with playing a prostitiute. some people just have
narrow minds.






oops sorry I mixed it with another song.. I agree nothing wrong for an actor to play a role..
yeah it was fankaara...but as everyone knows fankaara word means ARTIST / PERFORMER or ACTRESS and has nothing to do with prostitue at all... so she played the role of some famous performing artist of aagra. I cannot label her character a prostitue after hearing these clear lines about her character at the start of the song, even though it was shot in a brothel, but they showed the olden times of places like lakhnau aagra etc where mughaniya (singers), fankaar (performaing artists/dancers) and those who sell their body (prostitutes) were 3 totally different classes working in those areas.
