Chennai Express Creates History : Collects 100cr Over the weekend :-

Previews - 6.75 crore
Friday - 33.12 crore
Saturday - 28.05 crore
Sunday - 32.5 crore

TOTAL :- 100.42 Crore.

Film has totally Crushed all previous records that too by a margin of 30cr. Last weekend record was 64cr made by dabangg2, but CE Fri-Sun figure itself is 93.25 crore which is Unbeliavable record. Including previews total for weekend is 100.42cr.

Film emerged fastest film in History of Bollywood to reach 100cr that is in 3 and quarter days. Last was Ek Tha Tiger which did in 5 days. Chennai Express set New Weekend records in practically every circuit, every theatre in India.

Film is now aiming for 150cr first week and 200cr plus lifetime collections. Every possible record is in danger from now. SHAH RUKH KHAN has once again proved his Megastar power to Bollywood.

I just saw it Saturday 5/5 the film was not stop laughter, I hope SRK does more comic roles

First things first I am a salman khan fanboy to my evil bad ass core

But I always maintained I judge other actors movies by posters , songs and promos .

I liked the promo and posters of chennai express so I went to watch it to with my pops and a friend of mine .

Lets just sum up my feelings for this film in one word THALIVA 😉 😉


Funniest bollywood film I've seen in maybe ever . I think at par with Hera Pheri and Andaz Andaz Apna 😆


From the "tu meri aurat hai " to "my name is Rahul and I'm not a terrorist " the inside joke references to other BW films as well . Whether DDLJ or baazigaar of TDP I loved the singing dialogue between Srk and deepika .

I think Srk rocked . I know awards usually disrespect comedy films but I believe Srk should win an award for this film . If ever I believed this man deserved an award it's for this film

Deepika was funny too . She deserves props for pulling that accent off

Music as aight but I loved the lungi song . Even my dad who hates rap type music loved . Anyone know where to download it ???


One thing I especially liked was Srks use of objects in the fight . Realistically Srk doesn't have the frame of an action hero so nice touch that he might need the help of tools to fight the bad guys .

All in all for me it has surpassed Kai po che as my fav film of 2013

Idk if Srk ever had the biggest hit in history but I would not shed tears if this overtook 3 Idiots 202 record

I believe it's worthy
