With Chennai Express's terrific box office collections in its initial three days, Balaji Chief Ekta Kapoor faces a big question now: "To release Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Dobaara (OUATIMD) this Friday or not"

After breaking several records, SRK- Deepika starrer 'Chennai Express' has already entered the Rs 100 Crore club and is running to full houses. There are chances that Chennai Express's good run leads to Ekta Kapoor's flick coming out this week will not get enough shows.

As per the talks in the industry, Monday will be a decisive day for both the films as that day's collection is considered indicative of a release's post-weekend fate. If there is a slowdown in the sales of 'ChennaiExpress' on Monday, theatre owners can give a good run to 'Once Upon a Time in Mumbai Dobaara'.

Leading distributor Rajesh Thadani revealed - "Had there been no opposition from 'Chennai Express', 'OUATIMD' would have eventually had bigger collections and 'OUATIMD' will also eat into the other's revenues. But the SRK starrer has already proven itself. A lot depends on Monday and Tuesday'scollections."

One of the top distributor-exhibitor of Delhi & Punjab, Sanjay Ghai, also feels the same - "The logic is very simple. Two trains cannot run on the same track. Had Chennai Express been disliked by the masses, the downfall would have reflected on Saturday itself and if it continues to do well, single screens will prefer it over Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai Dobaara."

'Chennai Express' opened in at least 3500 screens across the country on August 9. The overall collectionfor Thursday in UK was 142,220 while in Australia and New Zealand A$ 38,315 and NZ$ 8,058, respectively.
