Producer Karan Johar has signed Hrithik Roshan again after Agneepath. Director Karan Malhotra will direct his Agneepath hero once again in a film titled Shuddhi. Writer-director Karan has still not decided on the leading lady.

He says, "Hrithik is in, that's for sure. There are two other characters ' one of heroine and other of villain ' which need to be finalised."

However, people in the know say that Deepika Padukone may be approached for the lead role. Karan adds, "I have a big wishlist. And though I want one particular actress to do the film, it would be too early to talk about it. I am too superstitious when it comes to things like these."

According to the director, Shuddhi will be a dramatic-romantic movie. "It is my kind of film. An epic romance. Agneepath was an adaptation but this one is written by me and my wife Ekta," Karan says. The original Agneepath, though has a cult following among its fans, bombed at the box-office. The remake, on the other hand, not only won accolades but also entered the Rs100-crore club.

I can't think of anything worse than Kareena with Hrithik. They are the worst couple of the last 20 years easily. Both of them go hyper and over the top and act like they're on drugs when they're together. They bring out the worst in each other.

Kareena's BFF Karan Johar will try to get her in. I hope Hrithik says no and asks to be paired with someone else.

whatever i like kareena or not and want her to be in the film or not but let me tell you something .You are talking about film before 10 year and both of them right now grow up in the term of acting .They are great in K3G because the scriot is good but they are totally bad in other films because of the script also .Salman and katrina give us yuvraj but they back with ETT so its all about the script

After Agneepath, Karan Johar ropes in Hrithik Roshan for Shuddhi

Looks like Diwali 2014 is all set for Karan Johar. The filmmaker has blocked the special date for the release of his Hrithik Roshan-starrer Shuddhi. The film will be directed by Karan Malhotra and is yet to go on the floors.

The team of Agneepath that did a business of around Rs 125 crore is back together with this project. The leading lady is yet to be finalised.

Karan Johar confirmed the news by saying, "These days it is very important to have the release date in order. Shuddhi is a love story at its heart and with Hrithik's intensity, he will be seen in a completely different role than in Agneepath."

The filmmaker added, "This is a big budget film and with its theme and qualities and the vision that we have, it warrants a celebration period like Diwali for its release."
