Jackie Shroff Opposite Smriti Irani!

Actor Jackie Shroff will star opposite Telly queen Smriti Irani on the small screen. The new show is called 'Thoda sa Aasman' and will be produced by Balaji Telefilms. Jackie Shroff and Ekta Kapoor share a good rapport, ever since Ekta was a kid. Jackie too seems to be in awe of Jeetendra and his family, according to reports in a tabloid.

Jackie informed the tabloid that Balaji has approached him and he has asked them to mail him all the necessary details regarding his character, etc. Balaji was looking for someone like Jackie who could carry off the role with ease. Besides his personality seemed to gel with the character. Incidentally, Jackie has already worked for a TV show called 'Missing' earlier.
