No I dont mean the candyfloss stuff. I dont think EH has the looks to carry off candyfloss. They will probably give him more edgy films. But then all edgy films are not good. The stars who become favorite with either PH start blindly doing whatever they give them and reject good stuff from outside. Rani, PZ have had such an attitude...so did SRK. Rani, PZ's career only got over while SRK still doesnt have the guts to do hatke stuff despite he starting his career with hatke films.

^agreed that's what happened with other 3...I wish SRK would take more risks...he has the talent to be more than a romantic hero

I hope EH acts smart and doesn't blindly agree to everything the PH house says

He knows how hard it was for him to reach this place...wouldn't want to ruin it by doing a bad movie

Pshh Emraan was already in the big league. He doesn't really need YRF. And I as his fan honestly don't care what production house he works with is as long as it is a good movie😃 I like his choice of films and I hope he sticks to his choice rather than conforming to YRF's standards😊 I am not really a fan of YRF brand of cinema.

Happy for him :) OUATIM, especially TDP really did wonders for Emraan too. Any idea on who's the director? YRF is now looking to make stars and not work with stars only. Their strategy has changed in the last few years. In between, all their films were with biggies and they flopped miserably because the focus was on stars and not content. Now theyve moved to smaller-budgeted films with newcomers...and making their careers...Even they've realized that the biggies now are old and times are changing. In between they put in 1-2 "bigger" films.

Good move from YRF on that Front...I guess competition from UTV has really scared them .
Hence even they too going UTV way...making stars and movies with good content...

Yeah, well I guess that was around when Yash Chopra let Aditya handle everything...and Aditya's ideas didn't work so well...and he was really into making something even more out of Rani than taking the company forward I guess. 😆 He must have realized his folly then.
I had heard that when their films started flopping really badly, Yash Chopra gave Adi a sound talking to and came back to take more of an interest in the company = change in strategy...better late than never I guess. 😆

MATLAB of bold is:

He's any day more bankable that YRF 😆 his hits ratio is much more than the YRF's recent run at the BO.. so its YRF's good luck that they r having him in one of their movies..
