Emraan joins the big league
Mar 02, 2013 - Joginder Tuteja

Emraan Hashmi is back in the game. A year after the buzz about him doing a film with the Chopras, the actor may finally have gotten round to it. "At that time, he was busy with films such as Ek Thi Daayan, Ghanchakkar and Ungli.

But he's looking forward to a fresh slate of films and there's a good chance that one of them is a Yash Raj film," says our source adding, "He is also a big fan of the camp and loves Aditya Chopra's vision. An announcement may soon be on its way."

Besides that, Emraan also has Karan Johar's Gutka to look forward to alongside Akshay Kumar and an international film called White Lies, which is under production.
"YRF in the recent past, has only invested in new faces like Ranveer Singh, Sushant Singh Rajput and Arjun Kapoor. The fact that they are making an exception for Emraan means a lot," adds our source.

What other production houses are left for him to sign?? ๐Ÿ˜†

Looks like Emraan got his way now as I read before YRF was reluctant to pay Emraan the price he was asking...and that's why he declined the offer earlier

Happy for him :) OUATIM, especially TDP really did wonders for Emraan too. Any idea on who's the director? YRF is now looking to make stars and not work with stars only. Their strategy has changed in the last few years. In between, all their films were with biggies and they flopped miserably because the focus was on stars and not content. Now theyve moved to smaller-budgeted films with newcomers...and making their careers...Even they've realized that the biggies now are old and times are changing. In between they put in 1-2 "bigger" films.

raniji ki mantrana iin "raj" karya?๐Ÿค”

Whatever its sure doing them good. If only they had thought of it right from 2006 instead of torturing us with the likes of mary poppins ka hindi, and tashan๐Ÿ˜†
