Vivek Oberoi learns to strum guitar for OMKARA

Reminiscent of yore during his COMPANY days, Vivek is coming back again with his perfectionist zeal. In Vishaal's Bharadwaj's OMKARA, adaptation of 'Othello', which is set against the rustic backdrop of Bihar, Vivek essays the character of Casio, 'KESU PHIRANGI' in the Hindi adaptation.

In the film there is a sequence where 'KESU PHIRANGI' strums the guitar. Vivek wanted to get so much into character that he started learning to play the guitar. His musician friend used to travel all the way to Wai, near Mahableshwar for the guitar lessons. "Vivek is a very dedicated actor. He started learning to play the guitar only to get into character for the sequence in the film. He has done a fabulous job in OMKARA", informed Vishal Bharadwaj, the director of the film.

And since the promos of OMKARA are out, all eyes are set on him. There is a big buzz on him since he is coming back with Ajay Devgan in a realistic set up since COMPANY.

Vivek is going back to his old 'avtaar' during his COMPANY days and becoming less accessible. According to sources he would prefer that his performance do the talking and would be available only when the films would be releasing like the rest of them. "I would rather let my work speak for itself... I am looking forward to OMKARA. Vishal Bharadway has an excellent vision", said Vivek.

Those who have seen the rushes of the film are raving that Vivek is gonna be the surprise package of the film. He has also seemed to have the highest regard for Ajay Devgan and considers him like his elder brother. Vivek also raves about Saif's performance, which he says is mind-blowing. Vivek also seems to be sure that OMKARA will complete a hat trick of hits with Ajay Devgan since COMPANY and KAAL.

Sources also recall that Vivek brings into his character the same perfectionist zeal like the way he went into the slums and did his homework and a couple of week later barged into Ram Gopal Varma's office dressed as CHANDU, swung his feet up the table and landed the role of Chandu in COMPANY as his debut film.

Vivek is someone to watch out for in OMKARA... As it's been said- Class is permanent!

i wish this film doz well, cuz i really think that vivek haz great skills but he iz still not being appreciated, he iz one ov my favorite actors and i hope this film doz well..... thankx 4 sharing!!!!
