Be it Bheege honth tere, Pee loon or Ishq sufiyana, Emraan Hashmi has been associated with several chartbusters. And it seems like T-Series honcho Bhushan Kumar is set to take Emraan's musical avatar a step forward, by joining hands with him for a full-fledged musical. In all likelihood, the
movie will kick off early next year.
"Since Bhushan has been associated with music, he thought it would be a great idea to work with Emraan in a musical. If you see his track record, box-office results aside, all of his songs have been very popular," says an insider. Apparently, a few days ago, Bhushan and Emraan had a closed-door meeting about the same. "Both of them have agreed to work together on the film. The rest of the details like the script, music and director are far from being finalised. They are in no hurry to start the project, which will have around 10 songs," says the insider.
If all goes well, Emraan might also venture into film production with this project. While Emraan remained unavailable for comment, Bhushan says, "It's too early for me to comment about the film. As a producer, I am in talks with many actors, including Emraan. But I can't divulge anything right now." Emraan, whose next film, Rush, is up for release soon, will also be seen with Vidya Balan in Ghanchakkar and Vishal Bhardwaj's next production, Ek Thi Daayan with Kalki Koechlin and Konkona Sen Sharma.
