Amitabh Bachchan has found another fan in Vidhu Vinod Chopra who is completely mesmerised by the superstar. "Vinod and I have been planning to work together for seventeen years. I'm so glad it finally happened," says Bachchan who resumed work after his illness with the dubbing of Chopra's Eklavvya. "Last Saturday on the same day as the Filmfare awards I was dubbing for Vinod's Eklavvya for the entire day. I had barely left the dubbing studio when I got a message from him saying that he was missing me already," laughs Bachchan affectionately.
"Vinod is a very fine human being. He's very passionate about his work although expresses his feelings a bit too strongly. But what the heck? That's Vinod. There aren't too many people who speak their mind with such honesty and clarity."
Talking about Chopra reminds AB of his other favourite director. "After working with Vinod I have begun to understand Sanjay Bhansali a lot better. Sanjay has worked with Vinod. And I see the same passion in both," he says.
