After having pulled off a dance act at the first-ever Bhojpuri film awards, leading lady Nagma has been approached for breaking into a few impromptu-swinging actions at gatherings and weddings.
The grapevine suggests that friend and co-star Chiranjeevi was the first in the pursuit.
He had been coaxing the actress to put together a 15-minute slot on his daughter's wedding day. However, Nagma laughed it off, "I've not been in touch with Chiranjeevi for some time now.
And I don't even know when his daughter is getting married. There's some misunderstanding, I believe. I'm not doing any such performances." Dear lady, we do trust you on that.
Upen: Ladies' Man
Model-turned-actor in the making Upen Patel has always caused a stir with the ladies and at a recent event held in he city a few nights ago; the hunk had the crowd screaming as he took to the stage.
But what we couldn't miss was the lovely Kareena Kapoor, sitting at the front row, cheering for her 36 China Town co-star.
It's nice to see Ms Kapoor supporting other men! What say, Shahid?
Not phir Dhoom
The buzz was that the sequel to Yash Raj Film's Dhoom was titled Phir Dhoom. But Uday Chopra who stars in the sequel dispels that rumour. "It's called Dhoom 2," as he readies up for a month-long outdoor for the film abroad. Right now he's a bit down and out.
Apart from shooting for Dhoom 2 he is down with flu and not feeling well. "Heheheheh! And let me clarify it's not bird flu before people jump to conclusions," chuckles Uday.
Now that he has put his last release, Neal 'N' Nikki behind him, what's he doing next? "I am taking it easy. I shoot for Dhoom 2 till June and then I am going to chill out. I may be also getting more involved with our company matters after that… let's see."
Ramu ya Rangita, Ms Sherawat?

Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma feels that Mallika's great body and sex appeal are her USP and she should use that to her advantage and should be comfortable with her image.
The buzz is that Ramu had offered her the item number (which has now gone to Nisha Kothari) in Darna Zaroori Hai but Ms Sherawat turned it down because she thought it was below her dignity and right now she wants to be known as an "actress."
Some people might agree with her, like Rangita Nandy, creative director, PNC. "Mallika is amazing in Pyar Ke Side Effects. Both dad (Pritish Nandy) and I saw the rushes and we were both stunned with her performance! After this film her sex kitten image will be left behind and she will be known as an actress."

Madhuri miffed
Of late, Madhuri Dixit has been fretting over a city tabloid's story on her dance act at the 51st Filmfare Awards. The report boasted of quotes given by the actress.
However, the actress denies of having spoken to the scribe who penned the story. A little birdie informs, "It was her business manager Rakesh Nath who spoke to the publication.
This is so unethical and only shows the tabloid in poor light." Adds Rakesh Nath, "Madhuri had clearly instructed me not to disturb her as she's here on her vacation and I have been talking to the press and the media on her behalf. The quotes should have been attributed to me and not to her." Anyways, goofy things keep erupting all the time. Let's handle it…
Maninee and Gaurav's cameos
Pari and Nandu of Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin will now be seen in SaharaOne's Woh Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki. The duo will be seen as husband and wife who have arrived from Meerut.
Gaurav plays Resham Sheth's brother and Prashant Bhatt's brother-in-law. While Maninee was unavailable for comment, Gera told hitList, "Prashant's kidneys have failed and I volunteer to donate one of my kidney's to him. My wife (Maninee) disapproves of this, and there is a conflict." Gera and De's track is slated to go on air, next week.
Tusshar's title trouble
Tusshar Kapoor is looking around for a title starting with K for Balaji's next film directed by Satish Kaushik and starring himself and Ayesha Takia. The film will start in March.
"Satishji's film an intense love story and about two lovers whose destinies don't appear to be in their favours. I want the readers of Mid Day to help us in this quest, please; and we are willing to use their suggestions if we like them."
Why just K? "Because Ekta will not allow any other letter to form the beginning of the title, that's why," Tushki smiles with a naughty grin. So some suggestions please…
