Priyanka Chopra refuses to work with Emraan Hashmi

Actress Priyanka Chopra, in the nine years of her acting career, has displayed a rare versatility and has done an interesting repertoire of films. Like her teenage crush Shahrukh Khan, she has never backed out from doing hatke roles. Just two years after her debut film 'Andaaz', Priyanka did an all and out negative role in 'Aitraaz'. Later in 'What's Your Rashee?' she played as many as 12 different roles depicting the distinct characteristics of the 12 Zodiac signs. And recently in '7 Khoon Maaf', the actress played the role of Suzanna, a woman who yearns for genuine love and ends up killing six of her seven husbands in search of it.

However, if her recent choice of films is anything to go by, Priyanka's urge to experiment as an actor has died down. Recently, she refused to act in a paranormal phenomena film being produced by soap opera queen Ekta Kapoor. The film is to be directed by Priyanka's favourite Vishal Bharadwaj and has an interesting title, 'Daayan'. However after hearing the name, Priyanka is reported to have declined the offer. The actress even refused to read the script since she simply could not imagine herself acting in a film with such a negative title.
However, there are people who are saying that the real reason behind her denial is different. Apparently, Priyanka has declined the offer because of the male lead of the film, Emraan Hashmi. She feels that working with Emraan would downgrade her brand value, really Priyanka? What were you thinking when you did 'Pyaar Impossible' with Uday Chopra then?
