Rajinikanth makes a call to Deepika Padukone

Tamiil superstar Rajinikanth is keen to start 'Ranaa' as soon as he recovers fully. He has been calling the cast and the crew from abroad to make sure that the movie will resume very soon. First he called up K S Ravikumar (director of Rana) and then Vairamuthu (lyricist of Rana) and now it is heard that Rajinikanth made a call to the heroine of the film, Deepika Padukone.

Rajini's poor health has made the actress change her schedule but she assured Rajini that she will free her dates when he will resume the shooting. At the same time, Deepika expressed her well wishes to the actor.

The shooting of 'Ranaa' will commence from September.

Don't know how i feel about "Rana", but lyrics by Vairamuthu combined with Rahman's composition is an unbeatable combo and always delivers beautiful songs. Very excited for the soundtrack.
