It's always said that 'Nostalgia is a file that removes the rough edges from the good old days'. Well, the current issue of 'Good Housekeeping' does just that. It has the graceful Waheeda Rehman, the actress of the golden era on the cover, with a smile that ruled the cinegoers hearts.
In this issue, Waheedaji slips into a nostalgic mode and looks back in time and reminisces the golden era of Bollywood. Speaking about the legendary Guru Dutt, she says, "He (Guru Dutt) would talk to you and at the same time notice this other person sitting in one corner looking a little down; and after he'd finished talking to you, he'd go to the other person and ask her if she was fine, if she needed anything". Not just that, Waheedaji also speaks about her growing up years which were quite tough because it was around this time when she lost her father.
She says "After I got married, I told him (Kamaljeet) that there was a rule- whenever two people lived together, fights were bound to happen. So, if I am screaming at you, you will keep quiet and vice versa". That's Waheeda Rehman for you, graceful and gentle as ever!
