IF this is true, why on earth would she go and do that? Let's see, 1.Shimit Amin who is behind a critical and commerical success and is surely on a roll, 2. YashRaj who no matter what you think of their kind of cinema are the big daddies of the industry and 3. Ranbir Kapoor is rapidly gathering a huge following and is coming off a decent hit with BAH. This is what I mean when I say I don't get Sonam Kapoor and her approach to her career. If this article is to be believed, then it's not the first time she's turned down a film because of "personal" reasons. I mean c'mon, what did the guy really do, (allegedly) leave her for another woman? Big freaking deal, move on and get on with YOUR CAREER!!!

Perhaps this isn't even true. For her sake I hope so because I fear there will come a time when she rue all these extreme career choices. Pride comes before a fall Sonam.

yeah whatever!! as if Sonam will ever say no to a project like this! The writer must be a twisted fan of hers obsessed with romanticizing about ranbir and sonam being in some sort of a love triangle.

as if she is in a position in her career to say no to prestigious projects.

First Kites (when Rakesh Roshan himself denied ever approaching her) then that Aditya Chopra movie.

The stories could also be planted by Sonam's over zealous PR to keep her in the news and make people think that she ain't signing films because she's choosy and not because she ain't getting no decent offers..

i ain't buying any of it

Sonam is playing her career very differently to the current trend.

One's loss in another's gain. Actors are replaced or walk-out. This happens all the time in the industry. Otherwise we would have seen Salman singing Baazigar O baazigar and Chak De India or Juhi Chawla doing Dil to Pagal Hai.

yes I know..i can believe that IF and only IF she had made a big impact in her debut movie. which she didn't.. so i don't think the big producers and directors are lining up outside her door down on their knees offering her a role. If she truly said no to some of the so called great projects that she was offered (mind you these people denied she was ever offered them) then she isn't the smartest person around. she is in Bollywood, like seriously what sort of a role is she exactly expecting? LOL

she is just a newcomer! not a thespian!!!!!! no one is gonna offer a role of a lifetime this stage of her career..

And even assuming these are all false allegations, WHAT exactly is she being offered then?

I am just saying that i am extremely skeptical that she got offered these roles. Rakesh Roshan said that they never approached Sonam for a role in Kites and Sonam wouldn't say no to a lead role in Aditya Chopra's directorial if she has a brain cell. Also, didn't they also say that the role was never offered to her?
She ain't no thespian to be in a stage where she gets all these roles on a platter and Princess Sonam tells them to go stuff themselves. LOL

these random stories that come out every now and again where they say she rejected all these movies seem very hard to believe.. i ain't saying she is behind these stories, it could be someone in the media who is obsessed with her OR her own PR who wanna keep her in the news by fabricating these insane stories..

I wouldn't be surprised if tomorrow they come up with an article that says Sonam got offered a plum role in the next Batman movie opposite Christian Bale and Sonam the great refused it saying she didn't have the time hahahahahahhhhhhhhhhhhh
