There's talk that a reputed film-maker, regarded as one of the best in the business, had approached this Khan to enact the title role in a historical. The film-maker then approached his favorite actress for another key role in this historical, but since the macho hero and the beauty don't see eye to eye on certain issues, the film-maker decided to abandon the project.
