I think the channel and it's shows need more promotion. It's gonna be hard to get new viewers as other established channels like SP and Colors already have their loyal viewers.

I hope they start promoting the channel more and get more viewers

This channel has the potential to beat SP

They should promote some of these shows on Ravivaar with Star Parivaar. Star Parivaar can be SB folks too, right? And KSV, Sayli, Niyati, Wahi, Hiba, SS, Pankhuri Di, Ishaan have all starred on SP during their careers. Can be a callback and awareness on their new stuff. Star India walon, inn shows pe rehem khao πŸ€“

For that SB needs to bring a show on cheating and extra marital affair. SP will promote it more than their AnupamaaπŸ˜†

The shows are pretty good here, but honestly, the overall look of the channel is a little boring, they should try to change that, make it more attractive and promote their serials more.

Sry to budge in here. I keep saying this be it in forum or on SM.

As fans/viewers of TV fiction shows, if we like a new hindi daily soaps concept, theme, casting, main leads, key character sketches, locations, story backdrop etc. or due to hyped promos and media coverage that generates buzz to create interest, we try to check out which channel it airs, and if time slot suits our routine. Simple. And after trying it out, if this show attracts us or if we find some interesting elements to catch our attention, have some anticipation factors that hook us, main leads that charms us, we continue taking out time to watch it irrespective of channel, time slot or TRPs.

And most Indian general TV viewers, that too current pay TV subscribers DON'T decide/deliberate which hindi fiction soap or GEC they want to watch or not, based on some weekly TRPs list published by BARC after seeing rise or fall in numbers.πŸ˜›So lets watch & enjoy whatever we like or choose to, till a fiction show is on air irrespective of which channel it airs.

Ofcourse Star Bharat as a channel needs to focus now more in marketing, distribution networks, overall look and feel to increase its outreach and viewership. Anyhow Star Bharat head early this year said, channel wants to invest in new content, concepts and not bothered about TRPs for now. He knows channels pay TV subscription base is pretty low overall in India, so we as viewers lets enjoy till these new finite shows last on this channel, why worry just because they aren't visible in weekly BARC list? πŸ˜”

Completely agree with all the points! πŸ‘

We should enjoy it while it lasts πŸ‘πŸΌ

The worry for us is not that they are not in the BARC list dear, but unfortunately that is still the standard that they are held up to in India, and the channel and PH makes decisions on whether to extend it or change the storyline based on it, many times leading the cast, crew and audience to suffer when everything goes downhill. They have begun with the revamp process, so there is a sincere hope that it will yield with more viewership, especially for the huge section of audience who is hella disappointed with the top trp shows and wishes to shift to better alternatives.
