Ravi Kishen is back on television. After his successful stint at the Bigg Boss house, Ravi Kishen is once again doing a reality show called Bathroom Singer, though this time as a judge. Ravi will visit people randomly and 'discover' contestants. This, besides the routine auditions. The show will go on air by the end of this month, while the auditions are scheduled to start from the July 7.
Ravi Kishen says, "My simple brief for everyone out there is that come make me happy and I will give you Rs 25 lakh. I will be touring many cities, like Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Patna, Delhi, Bangalore and Kolkata among others. My aim will be to hunt out talented people who have no money, no television, no mobile phones and no confidence to sing before an audience. The contestants need not be trained. I will only select people who sing from their heart and not from their nose, ears or any other place! I know that there will be people who won't have the money to come for auditions, so I will personally hunt them out by going to their doorstep."
What made him accept this offer? Ravi replies, "I was surprised when I was asked to judge this show, as I am not quite known for my singing abilities. However, when I got this offer, I grabbed it because I liked the idea of meeting new people and interacting with them on a one-to-one basis. I hope that after Bigg Boss, my next big attempt at television will be loved by everyone too."
