She confessed that Bigg Boss house is akin to real life and living there helped her make new friends and learn many things about life.
Q: Was it worthwhile participating in Bigg Boss? What do you feel after living for so many days in that house?
A: Participating in Bigg Boss was a really good experience and I learned a lot about life while staying with unknown people. The situation is akin to real life, where you have to trust people, who might backstab you any moment. There, every week, you have to nominate people and backstab some of them. It's really strange to judge people and decide, who in on your side and who is against you.
In my opinion 'Life is Bigg Boss', it teaches you a lot and in the end, one learns how to cope with the highs and lows.
Q: What were your high points, while participating in the show?
A: Well, entering the show was a great thing to have happened to me, as a lot of people there were top celebrities and big names. Also my stay was so long despite the stress and politics in the house, it really gave me a great feeling to survive there. It was a great learning curve, as well and whatever said and done, I have made many new friends. It's tough to survive in the show, as it brings out extreme emotions of people and also everyone wants to win, so, participants can go to any length to save themselves.
Q: Who do you think were the best and worst participants in Bigg Boss?
A: In my opinion Rahul Mahajan is a good person and also a very intelligent participant. He is playing it very cool and calculated and that is one of the reasons, he might go on to win this show. Despite being manipulative, he is a good and kind person at heart.
Sanjay Nirupam and Jade Goody are also two people connected with the show, who I think are nice. I interacted with Nirupam and he proved to be a wonderful person.
On the other side, there are two people, whom I found unbearable for their doublespeak and fake persona. Zulfi is very shrewd, cold and calculating, in fact he verges on as dangerous and is a strange character. Payal Rohtagi also has a similar personality, she is fake and dirty at heart. I do not want meet these people ever in my life. Rest most of the people are fine and I got along with them well.
Q: Does participation in Bigg Boss entails psychological pressure on the participants?A: Yes, participating in this show puts all the participants under extreme stress as every one has to remain on edges to protect themselves from others. One is constantly living under the watch of Bigg Boss and cameras give you no private space. One is living in a closed house, there is no outside world, you are disconnected from everything except the few participants. It is very unnerving and it took me a long time to come out of the spell of the Bigg Boss.
Q: Has the Bigg Boss stint boosted your image and will it help in future growth?
A: Well, one positive aspect of the show has been that it has made me popular amongst the people, particularly the kids and women. Recently, I went to a mall and was mobbed by people, who appreciated my work and said that I was sincere and true to self in Bigg Boss. Such appreciation and popularity helps one to achieve more and bigger goals in life and career. It adds to my confidence that so many people appreciate and like my work.
Q: What are you plans for the near future?
A: Well, future looks bright, as I am preparing for a dance reality show, which is in the pipeline. I am a good dancer and will work hard to win this show, as it is a dance-based show. There are other projects also coming my way and will try my best to do justice to them.
