BB is about showing the people who you actually are...not about what you want to project yourself as, to the audience. If you have things to hide then BB is not the show for you. Just like OM claimed to be vegetarian but turned out to be non-vegetarian...I agree its his personal choice and he should be allowed to eat whatever he likes and how does his food habits make him less worthy of being on BB...BUT... this lie told a lot about OM as a person. Similarly, it wouldnt matter if Manveer was married or unmarried...but the fact that he purposely lived this lie for 3 months, speaks a lot about Manveer.
