You're right. BB seems to be trying to achieve its objective of eliminating Rohan while appearing to have virtues of forgiveness and fairness, especially to Rohan's fans.

By ending the punishment to Rohan, BB appeared to show that it possesses virtues of forgiveness and fairness and look good to Rohan's fans. By ensuring the elimination of Rohan, BB achieves its objective.

@bold - I think they lifted the ban only cos they required the same number of contestants on either side for this bungee task. Since there were only 6 contestants left, and the channel wanted to save lopa+M2 (who they deliberately positioned on one side), they had to bring back mona from the secret room as well as rohan from his ban - ONLY to participate in this one last task before their eviction, to make up the numbers in the task.

Even though I like Rohan, i don't mind him being nominated every week, if he truly has fan following he will overcome all the obstacle. If u have to become champion then u have to beat the best.

Now, to evict Rohan, he is the only one not allowed to participate in the singing task. If nominated contestant were not to be allowed to participate, Bani should also not have been allowed to participate. By allowing Bani to participate, they are giving her an unfair advantage over Rohan in next elimination, thus further ensuring Rohan is eliminated before Bani in Finale.
