This is not elitist mentality but shear truth. I would not spend a single dime on voting anyone by SMS, but a lot of my friend's kids do spend a lot on voting for their favorite contestants in JDJ etc. I happen to be from smaller states in UP, there most of the people do not have enough spare money for that. Specially if you compare the number of people who can afford to do so
