@cruiser TBH I think M3 were acting that they didn't knew what Bani said to Lopa. Their stand against Lopa was totally based on the word 'mom'. That 'Meri mom k baare mein bola' thing did it. They have witnessed how Salman bashed Om during Om-Bani situation. They thought this time Lopa will receive the wrath of Salman so they clearly sided with Bani w/o thinking of anything. When they saw Salman also questioned Bani on her below the belt remarks they acted innocent. This is what I felt watching the episode. But still they deserve some benefit of doubt. May be the 'cat fight' didn't let others analyze the situation properly. Otherwise Manu is a smart guy. He knows he made similar comments on Bani as well so he would have taken a neutral stand in the matter. One more thing they actually took the botox thing very seriously. Honestly speaking, I don't think Manu and Manveer are that innocent in this case. The knew what all happened day before. It's not like they are at the other end of an apartment complex and there are so many people living there that they had no time to talk to their best bud Mona who was sanchalak. They knew what all that Bani said to Lopa day before. Manveer and Manu both try to project the village /innocent persona. Pretending not to know what Botox is. Manveer pretending to know no English when now and then he lets slip, and grammatically correct slips too. Manu owns BMW's but projects to be unworldly. I call bs on both. Nitibha also did quite a number on both making them believe that speaking about Botox on bani was so so wrong. Nitibha took more exception to the Botox comment then the ma reference.

Anyway, I have to say this much for Rohan and Lopa, they really are magnanimous, they did not stretch the issue with housemates on how they followed herd mentality and sided with Bani just because ma was mentioned but did not look at the context in which ma was mentioned. Glad BB showed the footage of them All speaking bad about Lopa and talking about her title and representing India. Mona was sanchalak so she was supposed to have full context based on her observation of task from both days, (since some claiming Manu Manveer did not hear all that bani said to Lopa day before) but what did Mona do? She did more chugli and instead of telling them all what bani said she contributed to the backbiting of Lopa.

How M2 project themselves is completely irrelevant on whether they were aware of the talks that went in the task, so benefit of doubt should be given absolutely to them in this case.

I guess they really thought Lopa said something bad about her Mom and it is such a sensitive topic they did ot want to take a chance

lopa made one mistake. when bani said - tere baap ke paise pe jeeti hai - lopa should have gone charging at bani screaming - mere baap ke baare mein bola.
wish lopa had learnt to play the sympathy/victim card as well as bani has been playing all season

They had formed their opinion based on what both said after Bani charged at Lopa.

That was the reason for misinformed conclusions and verdicts by Mannu especially.

It got sorted out once Salman elaborated on what exactly happened!

What Lopa and Bani said to each other was part of task, some can go beyond limit. Rohan said bad thing to Manu and he took sportingly, so, saying something below the belt was still part of task.

They should have made decision based on what happened outof task. Abusing, reacting and getting physical was the violation. Yeh Bhed chaal mein chalte hain sab, and they target one who seems to be stronger. It is fine that is strategy, but we also need to understand while watching the show. This show is bad show for kids, but adult can learn from this. Because HMs get tested under different situation. One thing they miss while putting somebody in Villain chair, Villain chair gives footage to the person on WKW. Show becomes one vs rest.

Hmm. Right. That's what I am saying. Bani's 'meri mother k baare mein bola' did the trick. Almost everyone thought Lopa said something like Om. But instead Lopa words were similar to Manu's. This is why I gave him BOD. He is pretty smart and he knows what he has done in the show. Consciously he won't take such stand in front of Salman where he can be labelled as hypocrite.

Benefit of doubt can be given precisely at the point when task ended. Thereafter they had plenty of opportunity to hear from Lopa and from Mona (sanchalak) before becoming judge and jury. So that benefit of doubt excuse does not hold water after a day and before filming of WKW. They chose NOT TO LISTEN to Lopa when she explained. Plus sanchalak Mona fell in their bhed chaal instead of explaining both days details. Mona could have confirmed exactly what Lopa said but they wanted to score false points on the maa topic.
