And we all saw what happened when Farah hosted last year ..contestants took her as granted and seen making fun of her...

Having said that i personally wanted salman quit this show forever...

I truly don't see who else could be a host like Salman is. He totally owns the stage. He can at once joke and laugh with contestants and be absolutely commanding. Amitabh's image is a little too classy. Aamir would never do this show. SRK is too self-involved to be a good host for this type of show...

I enjoy BB and enjoy Salman's hosting. Somebody like him can even (at times) go against studio/makers diktats. Somebody lesser won't really be able to.

But maybe it is time to quit for a bit for Salman. He's 51. He has two films coming out in 2017. He doesn't have too much time left for making more movies before he will be too old. He needs to start doing 3 films a year if possible. (Same for SRK and Aamir - they are looking at end of life in a very short while. They have 20+ year careers behind them now... Now they need to establish their legacy). Maybe Salman should return to hosting this at 60. But I doubt it.
