Bigg Boss 10 contestant Swami Om's non-bailable warrant was cancelled by a Delhi court regarding a theft case. The court imposed a fine of Rs. 30,000.one of the most loved contestants, Swami Om left the show last night, without even getting nominated. The reason given was a court hearing pertaining to a theft case filed against Swami, whose real name is Vinod Anand Jha, by his own brother Pramodh Jha. Now, the latest news is, the court has cancelled his non-bailable warrant.
Swami Om made his court appearance on Saturday. But much to the relief of Swami, a Delhi Court quashed the non-bailable warrant issued against him in connection with the case lodged by his brother. The court cancelled the NBW and imposed a fine of Rs. 30,000 after this true soul appeared before it today.
"The court has accepted our NBW plea and the warrant of Swami Om ji is cancelled," A.P. Singh, Swami Om's lawyer, told the media.
Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) Satish Kumar Arora had earlier on December 3 issued the Non-Bailable Warrant (NBW) directing Swami to appear before the court. The next hearing will take place on February 4, 2017 next year.
Earlier, Swami was asked to appear before the court on November 8 and November 21. He, however, failed to appear before it as he was locked up inside the Bigg Boss 10 house. show.
Pramod Jha, the younger brother of Swami Om had in November 2008 filed an FIR against him, accusing him of breaching the security lock of his bicycle shop in Lodhi Colony, New Delhi, along with three men. He also accused Swami of stealing 11 bicycles, expensive spare parts, sale deed of the house and some important documents.
However, Swami's lawyer refuted the allegations and said that the case was registered out of jealousy.
