Gaurav Interview

Hello.

This is an old interview of Gaurav that I found and liked. And yes, Samay Khurana is definitely my favourite role of Gaurav.

After watching few seasons Hippo has understood the mindset of BB creative team.

Gaurav was prsented as classy, rich, nawab, royal, suited booted. The remnants of British Empire.

While Punjabi was presented as common man who does not have money but heart. He has nothing but mother's ashirvad and friends love. His job is to work against injustice like lagaan being asked by Gaurav types.

Focus here is to cash in girls. They vote, they form a cult (like for Gautam). While in Gaurav they will see a man who is rich..in Punjabi they will see a dilwala. Seedha..saadha..kannaya

So this was the setup

Problem is.. Punjabi looked like a washed out uncle with unattractive big face which he tried to make it slim and in shape through keeping beard. Girls are more likely to see him as uncle.

Therefore Gaurav is right now safe from this plan of BB. I do not think Punjabi can be Gautam/Prince type who were fixed and designed to win. he will not deliver.
