Grand Finale was not grand at all

Was wondering if it was only me who felt like i was watching the usual weekend episode of Bigg Boss rather than the finale.
Starting with, the show was filled with promotions of shows and movies. Even the movie promotions was fine but certainly overloaded with the Comedy Nights and to be frank, didn't find the jokes funny. Since its the grand finale, the proper closure should be given to the BB inmates itself rather than promoting other shows.

Many of the previous inmates were also missing like Ankit, Roopal, Arvind, Rimi, Puneet and Kawajeet. Even those who were present like Vikas, Aman, Digangana were not given opportunity to speak and was just called to decorate those empty seats.

There were no 'WOW' factor to the make over this time. After looking dull after all the while, the inmates were usually given beautiful gowns and different hairstyle and make over. This time found the make over pretty normal.

Somehow i didn't feel any attachment when the final two contestants were left and they were going to leave the house knowing we won't be seeing them again in the house and would miss all the fun we saw in the house. Didn't get that feeling this time as the shut the lights and walked out. However the ladies on the seat were seen weeping and they certainly missed the house.

Salman usually plays pranks and delays before announcing the winner but he seemed to be on point by quickly announcing the winner. I remember there were comments on how Farah Khan announced quickly last season and Salman seems to be doing the same.

Overall, regardless of who wins, the show is the main hero for me always but i felt it lacked some spices this season.

Now coming to Season 10's concept, would the idea of bringing in a commoner in the show work? If there are 14 commoners in the show, then the audience may get the chance to have liking for someone. But when they are pitted against known celebs, their chances of popularity and gaining votes are certainly lesser and i've seen this in other reality shows like JDJ, NB and more where they can be really good but due to lack of popularity and fanbase, they had to leave. Could the same happen in BB10? Lets see.

Agree with most thinks esp about the last part if they bring commoners with already popular contestants than d same would happen what happened this season
Better bring everyone known or everyone unknown
Really don't care if the finale was grand or no the winner itself was not satisfactory for me
No expectations for next season

The show was boring indeed!
Too much of comedy nights bachao, which was not funny most of the time.
The moment when prince and rishabh came out, seriously i didnt feel any excitement that i felt in last few season!

Those 3 reporters, do they have any other work beside coming here and asking same question again and again!! And i found extremely humiliating and offensive when they said prince's win will set bad example -infront of his family!!how can they judge a person by watching him just on a tv show? This is called yellow journalism infact!!

I didnt like any single performance -overall irritating finale

Agree final was really dull.
And more importance was given to promos of CKL.
This season has been a flop, and finale was super flop.

I loved the 3 JOURNALIST though. The fact that they said the truth and that Prince may have won the show but he's a shame for our society.

Agree with your points. This entire season was dull so didn't expect much from the finale.
I especially agree with you about your point regarding the commoners coming in with celebrities. They should just do a season of commoners but then eliminations should start in week two so at least the audience gets to know them better. I remember a season where they brought in one or two common people and they had a huge disadvantage.

It was a lack lustre event. My inkling tells me Salman will not be hosting the show next year. If next season is going to be a houseful of commoners, not many will be tuning in.

The new concept could be a boon or a flop.

On the brighter side, a commoner would also stand the chance to be in the show and since we had never known them, would be interesting to see the sides they bring out on the show. I think in Big Brother, that's how it works if i'm not mistaken.

But this season's ratings itself was said to be due to less known faces. So by bringing in unknown faces, it could also contribute to the ratings.

Regarding the reporters, they had this reporters even in last season and i didn't like the idea of doing that. They could have done in the 2nd last episode instead. The grand finale should be all about celebrating regardless of what a contestant had done.

Firstly 6 members were missing or shud I say were not invited...wonder why...secondly I was expecting performances from majority if not all of dem...makeover was gud for nothing all looked d same just dat Rochelle looked more weird dan usual lol...hardly any interaction wid d eliminated bunch...it was more of a one-way traffic where d Bachao Team came n bajaoed few of dem...add to dat promotion of Colors two new shows n Katrina's movie 🥱...in my opinion all dat auditions for mango people is just a sham...at d end of d day dese people r gonna cast just like many other reality shows...n we will end up wid a bunch of wannabes wanting to make it big in d glam industry but den dere will be no difference b/w Big Boss n shows like Roadies n Splitsvilla...n dis season's casting was d most pathetic...more dan half of d house was filled wid furnitures...though we had sum interesting wild cards but dey were brought in way too late...though I am an ardent Big Boss fan n have been religiously watching it since Season 1 but d Season 10 concept doesn't excite me one bit if it's gonna be bunch of commoners only 🥱 last but not d least why do dese reality show guys end d show so hastily...like atleast let d winner n runner-up give a speech n thank deir fans
