And as for the portions weve seen it all how she tried to nickel and dime during the guest party when it came to guest food. I'm sure if a guest came to your home that will be the last thing you will worry about.

Like I said education isn't all that makes one cultured.

She was the first one to jump when Varun Dhawan brought breakfast into the house. 😆

Fortunately, I know my Hindi. The word "gawaar" - means "gaon waala". Literally. Here:

So, no - "anyone can be gawar.. it depends from person to person" is an incoherent assertion. 😛 🤢

If you read my post carefully, you will see that I haven't invited any discussion. I was only just pointing out the irony of - mocking somebody for looking down upon villagers, but having no qualms calling that person a ganwaar. English mein gaali -gaali hai, Hindi mein nahin? 🤢🤢🤢

dekhiye bhai sahab/behenji

i jus told with what context i called her that..
u didnt hv to go take so much trouble and find the link of real meanin of it.. woh mujhe bhi pata hain.. agar aap mujhe without link bhi bataate, mein tab bhi aappe believe karti.. its my thinkin that people in villages can be really mannerly and not at all gawar as well.. n in metro cities too we see sme highfi people actin really shameful.. thats wt i hv seen thats wt i hv experienced.. its my personal opinion and only wth that context i made my comment..

ur post looked like a discussion caus u asked me a question, and it wasnt a statement or jus mere reply to my post..

dekhiye bhai sahab/behenji -
It was no trouble for me to fish out the link. Also, just so you know, my question was rhetorical in nature.

@Discussion: Certainly - country people can be well-mannered, and urban folk can behave shamefully. I agree with you.
But let me again point out -- you called Karishma Tanna a "ganwaar" - which literally means "country person", a "village girl". I don't see any context here... I don't see the need to invoke any context here.
