"FLIP" is the new word for this week in the Bigg Boss 8 house. Last weekend when I had gone there as a guest, I kinda had a feeling of what's going to transpire next.

It all started with Diandra openly expressing her desire to become the next captain of the house, but the moment the rest of the herd went against her opinion, she FLIPPED and befriended Ali who then was the captain of the house. (Imagine Diandra never liked Ali as a person in the first place). Anyway!

So this is where the story begins... Diandra very conveniently gets Ali to her side, Soni gets evicted and KABOOM... there's suddenly a slot open for someone to fill in... Knock Knock... and there comes Sonali, already all set to fill up the empty spot in Upen's world... I would call it a classic case of flipping. Poor Gautam is once again lonely!

But just see how Karishma Tanna has suddenly transformed her public image from being a confused soul to a clever mastermind, considering her charm worked beautifully and successfully through the phone booth secret task she was given.

And what to say about Sushant!!! Strangely everyone who was on his side and earlier in the week supported him for captaincy suddenly turned their backs towards him and let him down badly during the task. No prize for guessing, that's how you FLIP inside the controversial house of Bigg Boss.

If not all this, I am amazed to see how Praneet who has all of a sudden become this righteous soul after 5 weeks and has FLIPPED towards the others causing a crack in the wall of the so called sacred P3G group (Puneet, Pritam, Praneet & Gautam)

Meanwhile, Aarya & Ali seem to be still strolling around the Bigg Boss house trying to build their foundation but my all time favourite FLIP of the week was when Minissha Lamba without blinking an eyelid jumped into that stinky garbage bin for Puneet and humbly said that we are all one family and that anybody would do it for him.

And if you thought it got over there... hang on, for here comes the most interesting part. Puneet profusely apologised to Minissha for not believing in her for all these weeks and cries his heart out seeking her forgiveness.

While Minissha very politely succumbs and tells Puneet to calm down but then happens the ultimate DHAMAKA, as she flips, flips and continues to flip and warns that she is now going to show her true colours and take away Puneet's happiness. There couldn't have been a more exciting FLIP SLIP than this one.

Errr Duh Uh, I quite didn't understand that. Either Minissha is too clever or simply pretending to be one. Kindly provide us audience your TRUE nature, so that we can understand you better. Or maybe weeks to come would automatically unfold more stories.

After so much of drama around Bigg Boss 8 captaincy, we finally got to see the best man winning the game. But somehow to me, it looks like the story of Titanic. I mean a Captain by Default UPEN with a Sinking Ship or should I say a captain who is going to make the ship sink.

Alright, so after being made to realise that captaincy is an integral part of the Bigg Boss show, and that one must earn it, these contestants still haven't been able to realise their own potential or I'd rather say they are so dumb, except for an over-smart Gautam who was the first one to go and give his name to be the captain.

Surprisingly Upen did not take even the initiative for captaincy even once. Everyone started getting ants in their pants when they saw Gautam applying for the candidacy and once again Upen was twiddling his thumbs and looking lost, and by "default", he became the second candidate chosen by the rest.

I just don't understand how this week Upen has suddenly emerged as the 'Man' who wants to confront everyone and has an opinion on almost everything. Well, it is evident that he has finally decided to drop the invisible cloak but to what and whose benefit??? His raging bull tactic seemed to have worked for him.

So here I am going to decode this tricky scenario for you. Last week Upen was paired with Sushant for captaincy and by default, he lost because everyone chose Sushant over him for being the calmer one.

This week again, Upen turned fortunate by default to be chosen as a candidate for captaincy against Gautam. And it wasn't a surprise to see Puneet switching sides, conspiring against Gautam and going gentle in the task and VOILA, we got the new captain by default.

Now that Upen has taken over as the captain, I am not really surprised to see him taking the most biased decision. It seems he is the ultimate defaulter in the house and he only validated it by awarding Sushant, who was a complete failure in the phone booth task. Just to refresh everyone's memory, it was none other than Upen who let down Sushant and put him on the road to disaster by declining to shave his head off for him.

And then, captain Upen punished Gautam. Errr! For what?? Just for speaking out the truth? Honestly I've no idea what the rest of the Bigg Boss lot is upto. I don't think they themselves know the purpose for which they are on the show.

Sonali clearly found her solace in Upen. Praneet has found new friends, while Diandra, Karishma & Minissha are still trying to figure what next to do. And the remaining ones don't even seem much relevant at this stage.

The much touted P3G gang has now reduced to P2G with an apparent sane Praneet being the odd out. And by default, they continue to be the ones entertaining us, or rather the only ones good enough to hold the audiences' attention with their string 'Male Bonding' that has never been witnessed in the prior seasons. Let's Wait and Watch what happens next!
