One of the reasons why I dont find it interesting to watch any of the tamil serials these days
(forum members adika vandhiruvaanga) is primarily because, they seem to start with something, dont know how to take it furthur, just go with the flow and do something random and then come up with an ending with all loose ends, which would have gone for about 5 years with 500+ episodes. I dint watch for so long but could guess.
But then again, I dont have any idea of how serials and serial artists work and what their compulsions are.Heard that usually these directors tend to change after a point and hence storyline/characterization all gets affected
Agree with you on all these points about Mega-serials.. that's why I prefer VijayTV serials.. π
Ingayum neenga sonna points laam apply aagum , but the duration is less compared to long running SunTV serials .. ZeeTamil la kooda it is running for years now..
andha vishayathula VijayTV is far better.. they start with extraordinary elements, sodhappify in between, comes back to track, then end abruptly or suddenly to give way for other new shows..
VijayTV la 1000 episodes cross panna orey serial is Saravanan Meenakshi, that too with all seasons put together.. they purposely did that and want to show mass in numbers and prolonged it..
As we are discussing now, SunTV oda initial decade la telecast panna weekly serials were the best ππΌ eppo serials daily poda aaraambichaano appo start aanadhu javvu.. π€ͺ
Now my mom watches 'Kalyana Veedu' alone in SunTV .. avanga paarkkurappa naan mostly veetla irukka maatten. Whenever I'm there, Gopi (director Thirumurugan) ya edhaavadhu sollitte iruppen π.. he is actually doing too much nowadays.. agree that once upon a time his serial Metti Oli was the best with realistic characters and scenes.. but ippo he is overdoing it... Ellaam fame naala varra thalaikanam nu I keep telling.. π
