Finally done watching breaking bad yday (8 days). Pages are moving so much here , not able to catch up. I was glimpsing posts here and there.
Maya, pls do post BB updates here, some of us read about BB only here.
Even I had a doubt at one point if Kavin-Los relationship inside was a strategy when Los kept on saying to her mom , believe me , I will come and explain everything outside. If it was only a strategy then I am amazed to see the acting skills of Los. In my opinion, they both really fell for each other but now want to focus on their career and family so keeping silent as of now. They may or may not continue their relationship based on the situation, like taking life as it comes.
About Prasanth and Ajith. I liked them in their early movies. I fact I became a die hard fan of Ajith after Amaravathy movie. When he became famous , just see him as a neutral fan. I liked Shahrukh Khan so much in the Fauji TV serial , used to watch it only for him. Then later on when he became famous, lost interest in him. I think I have the tendency to root for the underdogs and will lose interest in them if they become hotshot and liked by all.
I like Vijay but not a big fan. My son is a big fan and waiting to watch bigil. Once we took the kids to Kathi movie to the theatre and within the first 10 mins , my son started crying saying it is not a movie for kids seeing the fight. So had to come out of the theatre. ( we don’t show Tamil movies to kids unless it is comedy and PG rated). We were planning to move to India for couple of years that time and him not going to watch Tamil movies won’t work for us as we were planning to have fun in India as much as possible when we were there (like watching movies, having good Indian food, traveling etc). So I let the kids watch one masala movie a week like Dhool, Gilli , Gemini etc. Then my son became a die hard fan of Tamil masala movies esp Vijay movies.
About Tamil movies, I watch all kind of movies but my fav are Anbe Sivam and moondram pirai. Recent movies I liked jigirthanda, Naduvula konjam pakatha kanom, Vada chennai. I like vetrimaran movies , some Bala movies but I am not okay with his unnecessary violence scenes. I am okay with violence if it is needed for the story but nowadays Sethu movies are story in between violence. Just keeping them for the sake of giving a shock factor to the Audience.
Read some posts about Keith ledger, he was one of my favourite actor even from broke back mountain. That was one of my fav movie. I was heart broken for few days when he passed away.

Yeah, parthipan is hero. Motives are changed, that was also okay. Climax of English movie will be completed before interval in Tamil remake. I don't even remember what they did for second half of the movie. 😆

Eeram was one good movie, actually anta movie songs paathu I thought it was some romantic movie, approm actual movie was totally different but I liked the movie.
Similarly Jigirthanda, the scene where these two get caught by Bobby simha gang, I just love the scene Avlo serious tone to comedy that scene shift aagum. Iraivi is one masterpiece.
I love radhamohan movies. Feel good movies.
Tangameengal .what a performance by the girl, the mother also acted well. Nice movie.
Me too lost interest in bala after his movies became too sadistic especially the death scene from Avan Ivan. It disturbed me a lot. Couldn't watch TV for some time.
But I feel bala has refined and moulded every actor that he worked with. Visible results were seen in their acting post bala movies, vikram after Sethu, Surya after Nanda(gvm chose him for Khaaka Khaaka after watching his acting in Nanda) vishal, arya ,gv prakash.
Jigarthanda is mass, kind of twists and turns makes it awesome movie. Liked all karthik movie except for pettai.
Bala is one of my fav director and actors coming out of his movies prove what he does to their career. His assistants as well. He is predictable recently and didn't like recent movies. Pithamagan will be my all time fav. Who could make Sangeetha and Laila act like that.
