Cropped version ae 2:50 minutes .. starting laam nallaa dhaan pochi .. but adhukku mela yenna yen ponnu dhaan yezhuppi vittaa .. seriously yenakku pidikalai .. it could have been a masterpiece if crafted well .. having top class technicians in hand Maniratnam ruined everything with his screenplay .. the conflict between the two main leads has not been established properly .. so when the mgr character takes over politics and become CM , we could not feel the impact and the connection with the characters was not there .. yennamo varaanga dialogue pesuraanga poraanga avlo dhaan ..and the ashiwarya portion is just meehh..
I heard in theatres many audiences wanted cash back for this film ..I can understand it after watching the movie ..
So watching or listening only The songs is enough and good for your heart I feel .
( since most of the time we think in same line .. I feel u also won’t like this movie )

One another fav movie, but not watched many times - it is gokulathil seethai. Directed by bb2 Viji's dad agathiyan .
Some of the scenes could look like over action if we see now, but that's the best Karthik movie for me. IC (inferiority complex) Mohan role was played by karan.

unpopular opinion -i dont like bala movies ,for me his movie kind of mess ,reality ingra perula over violence and bad words va irukkum, not comparison but cheran movie ellame reality touch nnu solli emotion athigave irukkum but there is some social msg too (still i feel cheran should try movie with more comedy and emotion like vetri kodi kattu type ) however he minimize violence so far no villan in his movies except pandaver poomi or vulgar dialogue ikkum perisa irukathu but bala movies always focused towards awards only ore mathiriy hero va etho psyco mathiri portray panni iruparu
Even I don't like his movies... Athuvum Avan Ivan' le anthe periyavar'eh villain murder pannuvane by making him nude... I don't like that scene at all... Anthe alavukku oru scene'eh edukkanumnu illei... Horrible!!
