I was very young so was amused by the whole double role thing also...and of course became an aishwarya rai die hard..fan then and till this day a die hard aishwarya fan..especially that 1 song with all the world wonders ...made for the queen b.
unpopular opinion -i dont like bala movies ,for me his movie kind of mess ,reality ingra perula over violence and bad words va irukkum, not comparison but cheran movie ellame reality touch nnu solli emotion athigave irukkum but there is some social msg too (still i feel cheran should try movie with more comedy and emotion like vetri kodi kattu type ) however he minimize violence so far no villan in his movies except pandaver poomi or vulgar dialogue ikkum perisa irukathu but bala movies always focused towards awards only ore mathiriy hero va etho psyco mathiri portray panni iruparu
U r not alone ...I dislike his movies ...even reading a plot makes my head spin...Hero heroines adha avanga dhanu kandu pudika mudiyadha madhiri oru look koduthu mudiyala ......d only movie I watched fully is Avan Ivan ....yen pathom nu aagidhuchu ....Sethu ,Pithamagan,Nanda la happy scenes varaikum dhan pathiruken ....

She is d only heroine in Tamil industry, vandhu first two Tamil movies la double role pannadha though Jeans la oru song nalum and Iruvar :P

I liked kannodu kanpadellaam and the traditional sister role more. She did an awesome job there. Don't know who did the dubbing, it worked well for her

Sandy I have been trying to watch iruvar full movie for the past 20 years ...I'm the die hard aish fan that wants to watch every one of her movies lol . Everytime I try it bores me to death I can never finish it . Most borning movie of mani rantnam sir ever!!!
