Week 1 round up - contestants ranking (add yours)

We are officially through the first week! And let me say this, and I might get some flak for this, but I am genuinely enjoying this season. It feels like BB is restoring the OG feeling after years and years of messing up with the concept. They are focusing more on the entertaining stuff than the usual toxicity (something that had become the hallmark of BB in the past 6-7 years). I know its too early and BB may still screw it up but still. BB definitely got the casting right with a great mix of personalities. A lot of them have potential so lets hope everyone delivers.

Anyway, as with every season, here are my initial thoughts and rankings of each contestant. Will keep updating along the season! Please add yours!

I have divided the contestants into three categories - like, indifferent, dislike. I don’t feel strongly for any of the contestants so there is no love or hate for now!

LIKE

1. Shrutika - my first impression of her was not good. I found her repulsive during the premiere but over time she has grown on me! I find her scenes to be funny and she has great insights into the game too. She is bubbly yet has a good understanding of the dynamics. I feel over time she will get even stronger as rival dynamics build up. Definitely an early favorite for me!

2. Vivian - I have been impressed with him. He has a very strong personality, definitely a plus for BB. He has also not come across as rude or arrogant as many expected him to be. I don’t like him going after Chahat again and again but apart from that I have liked him.

3. Karanvir - another contestant who has impressed me a lot. He has shown many shades to his personality - he is entertaining, funny, smart and can take on others. I feel he will shine even more with tasks. Early front runner for top 2!

4. Nyra - I find her super pretty and she has given positive vibes so far. Has come across as caring and not playing dirty. I would like to see more of her but I guess that will happen with time.

5. Gunratan - I find him extremely irritating but he also makes me ROFL. What a uniquely entertaining contestant! I hope BB manages to keep him for as long as possible. Obviously I don’t appreciate the political stuff but at this point it is clear its all khayali pulao so we can ignore. He has been the star of this week!

6. Arfeen - I disliked him initially but he is proving to be a decent player. He has managed to maximise his screen presence and has locked horns with a few people. He is also not someone who will shy away from groups and fights. Potentially a top 10 contender!

Indifferent

7. Shilpa - been mostly inactive but showed glimpses of strong personality today. She is no pushover and can give it back when needed. Definitely seeing her lasting long is she keeps doing well (+ Salman quota).

8. Chum - I have actually liked her in what little they have shown her. She was fierce against Shehzada and gave it back to Gunratan today. I hope she opens up and she is one of the few female contestants with a strong personality.

9. Eisha - the only reason she is here is because I find her pretty otherwise she’d definitely be in the dislike section.

10. Sara - she has been decent in parts. Definitely a strong personality but mostly lost in her own thoughts. Needs to open up!

11. Shehzada - he isn’t as bad as I initially thought. Not at all like chomu kumar from last year. Lets hope he can show a bit more of his personality and not become Dalal’s sidekick.

12. Bagga - he showed potential in the premier but since then has been a HUGE let down!

DISLIKE

13. Hema - she is quite annoying with constant crying. Lets see what she does not that she is out of jail but I have low expectations.

14. Rajat - until yesterday he was in the indifferent category but what he did with Shilpa today was plain and simple wrong! Plus I don’t like how he fights on old matters. Like he fights on stuff that happened 2 days ago. Either for footage or because iska saabun kafi slow hai. Software updated nahin hai.

15. Avinash - he is getting overconfident after a couple of feedbacks from BB. He is getting negative by the hour. He has potential but for now I am finding him inching towards the ‘hate’ field!

16. Chahat - I don’t like her character arc. She is always in her drama trope. Boring and irritating.

17. Alice - I had high expectations but she is nothing but a mohallay ki anty!

18. Muskaan - snoozefest!

4..gunratan he isn't om swami just need to tone it down bit. Looks can be deceiving so people may judge him as om swami. He is old school and may not go down well with gen z or cancel culture.

5. Afreen/Sana : find them interesting

6 Avinash: like him minus his penchant for gossip aunty circle.

7. Shrutika : sweet

8. Chum: fierce and fun

EISHA , Chahat and Hema: Fake

Vivian and Karanveer..so far my top 2

Shrutika..same I disliked her in first episode but stood out most among the females

Gunratan..annoying but very entertaining

Chahat..too sugar coated

Hema..too annoying

Avinash, Alice and Eisha..if only they start doing something except bitching

Sara and Afreen..because i m yet to see their potential

Bagga..again soo much potential but done nothing soo far

I did not watch every episode since it has started.

So far i watched-

Like- or may be i should say vivian is interesting to watch.

Dislike- most of them,i am sorry i do not know many of their names.

Neutral- nyra,shilpa.

So I could catch up with most of the episodes and this is my take on few of them who were relatively seen more in the episodes -

1. Vivian - Definitely a front runner. Has a very good screen presence. Limits his words, speaks up wherever required but gives some hilarious one liners ( Koi Action bolke cut bolna bhul gaya for CP was epic).

2. Gunratan - He speaks OTT and is annoying at times but is giving content and that's what BB wants😂

3. Chahat - She very well knows how to create drama, if HMs continue targeting her, she might earn good following as one against all always benefits that one person!!

4. Afreen - He manages to be seen in every episode, and seems to have developed good bonding with almost everyone!

5. Shilpa - She seems sorted, no unnecessary drama. Don't know how far she'll go though

6. Avinash - Unpopular opinion but looks like he understands the game well. He get well knows how to get involved in issues and be in limelight

Dislike Alice and Eisha for doing nothing other than bitching around..

Karanveer can shine through in upcoming weeks may be!

Like

Karanveer - He is most intresting contestant till now for me . He is funny , witty knows how to tackle others . Till now his clapbacks has been intresting because he doesn't get agitated much rather deals it with fun.

Avinash : Surprisingly I like Avinash . His point of view is very good and understands house well his little tipanis of why and how's are fun . He explains himself very well most of times . Only thing that can effect his game is becoming puppet of eisha. I don't want her to influence him.

Shrutika : She can defend herself well and also is quite funny .

CONFUSED

Vivian : can't understand him till now sometimes he makes sense sometimes he doesn't make sense its just confusing

Eisha : she has potential but she is too busy just bitching and trying to make Avinash her servant to actually do something till now

Absolutely HATE :

Sara : She is someone who is a hypocrite she doesn't like others crying and being emotional but she herself becomes angry and brothered in two minutes. Issue kisika bhi hoon ye madam aise pareshan hoti hai jaise ye malkin hai sabki

Chahat : Everyone can see she is acting and her arrogant face can be seen sometimes and I will wait for it to open soon but it's quite obvious how she is irritatingly sweet and poked people.

Rajat dalal : i hate him from the day he stepped on bb stage and nothing he does in bb will make me like him he is just a bully and Gunda .

Mr advocate : I don't know which kinda grandiose dreams he lives in . I absolutely hate his thinking and all the political stuff he has said I don't support it at all . He should be ousted but ofcourse bb is enjoying a nalla character. I hate him pls take him to mental hospital.

Other contestants that are left out haven't made much of an impact on me . Apart from hema she has a potential but because she didn't use her chance of becoming baddest bitch in town by what bb gave her as golden chance to be a villain player but no she is all badi badi battein Vada pav khate . But I still have hopes from her . Let's see .
