My point was Salman Khan is very shallow and he abuses Shumbul because of it. He doesn’t call Tina as Madhumita ki beti or anyone else by their parents name that way. Why call her toukir ki beti? Is Mr.Toukir his friend? Nehi na! Toh ey kaisa tameez hain? He didn’t call Ankit that way, so it’s not because of “jogdan”( which basically means screeching like banshees). If her father’s misguided attempt was such a big deal then they should have let her go instead of insulting her day in and day out. What’s the point for humiliating her? Not a Shumbul fan, don’t care either she stays or not, but decency bhi koi cheez hain. On one side he is saying to the contestants—“ bap ma pe kiu jate ho?” On the other side he is humiliating her by taking her father’s name derogatorily. Totally uncalled for. Anyway it’s my opinion, not that anyone need to agree with it, was just curious about opposite view. Anyway peace!

I agree with all your points. That's why I started this thread. Why involving father's name? And that she too she is so young??? She is already being tortured by Sajid's cruel sense of humor.

Matlab isko poora thodneka plan chal raha hai.

BB didn't like being lied to about him being sick so they didn't let him come back again. There's no talking to him because sumbul can do no wrong. LOL

Today Abdu was calling her using the same phrase and she needs to set her boundary with the contestants, even if she felt intimidated by some of them. Salman Khan has unnecessarily done this damage.
She was raised by her father, after a certain age girls are less expressive to their fathers. Also fathers in our society are less expressive even if they are encouraging and affectionate. A mother will sit down with you for hours for a topic, a father might explain with a few words and think— “Bol dia na! Samajh geya na! Chalo ho geya!”

So it’s understandable that Sumbul might not be able to express adequately. She could have stopped Abdu (none of them did) he is from her own age group.
She corrected Shalin’s misinformation or whatever and Sajid was making a mountain out of that mole hill even when she tried to explain it. That’s how he patronizes, he backed off with Tina on the talk to my 🤚 episode. Once she starts with Abdu, she will find courage to stand up against Sajid too, with Salman— none of them can.

I find it very degrading. Even Abdu has started saying it. He’s her father, after all. Some lines must never be crossed.
