It's only because fans can't digest the wrong doings of their celebrity. It's lame to support physical assault no matter who or how one was provoked. Every year we have witnessed close encounters but hasn't reached strangulation. Even if shiv planned it, he didn't take Archanas hand to strangulate himself. That action was Archanas alone.
Archana too wanted drama in the house by hiding food items. Which sane person would hide sugar and tissues ? It's plain stupid. She did it to get reactions too, the only problem is it fell flat on her face.
I have one question, hope you will be able to answer. Whenever BB does niskashan, why the person takes U turn and starts crying to stay in the house? Do they deduct the amount from their contract? Last season also I saw that singer started crying and wanted to stay. Today Archana alone in her room realized her mistake and said nikal de Mujhe but in front of Shiv she was begging like anything. Instigation by bringing OUTSIDE STUFF is also against the rules. Shiv was constantly commenting on Archana's profession, political party and Priyanka Gandhi (a person who has nothing to do with this show). The fact that Shiv had to stoop low by bringing outside matters to instigate Archana, instead of sticking to what has just happened in the show, tells alot about him.
Agar ye allowed hain toh then contestants should also bring Sajid's MeToo allegations and Shalin's cases of domestic violence against him during fights and arguments. If that happens we would see how calm Tina, Sumbul, Shalin and Shiv stay, after wanting to throw Archana out of the house for losing her calm.
