And he didn't defeat Akbar to marry Phool. He just made an alliance with Marwar before Akbar made one.

sorry if i am breaking anyone's heart by saying this... but this was on wikipedia on maharana pratap's page, before it was locked for the vandalism on the page, which was being repeatedly edited by fans. the words had word by word been on the wikipedia page.. that had been edited after the show started to air. before that there was no information on ajadbe or phool or any of his wives for that matter. i had read about maharana pratap when i was going through information on akbar when jodha akbar started to air. his personal life had no other details, except that he had been living his life on the run and the one instance of his personal life that had been included... was about his daughter who had to eat bread made of grass and she by accident lost it to a wild dog or animal.
