Next update is here folks - before you read it I have a serious question and would love to know your views about it
So I have another story ready (completed half of it already) I wanted to know if I should post it now or do you want it after this one finishes - Forever Yours will have around 40-42 chapters and maybe more whereas the new one is a SS (I finally wrote a SS!!!) Let me know- if you all want then I will post the new one as well today (in two updates daily sequence) so let me know

Chapter 27
The distance had been covered quickly and the two separate parts of the same entourage met earlier than expected but the additional members of both the groups generated varying emotions from shock to totally flabbergast (who else but our Panditji).Pratap remained impassive on seeing his younger brother who had left them no left him and did not once try to reach out for him so he did what he had been waiting to do- he took out his sword as he took out his as well and then began the epic duel between the brothers scaring the rest of the group. Ajabde could not understand why Pratap was fighting his own brother? Before she could say a word Hakim Khan spoke up
HK: Let them be Shehzaadi they are conversing
Ajabde: Conversing?
HK: Yes Shehzaadi when words fail us men use other methods of conversing. Pratap right now is taking out his anger and pain of losing his brother while his brother is accepting his fault but yet standing by his decision
That could be seen as Pratap was on the offence whereas Shakti was defensive yet was attacking when he could. Ajabde knew they needed to re-connect but they had far bigger problems than their brotherly squabble to handle at the moment. She looked at Hakim Khan hoping he would help her in stopping them and he understood and said I apologise for this in advance
Before she could understand anything a fat mouse came out of nowhere making her scream. Her scream did the work both brothers stopped looking at the cause of distress but the scene only infuriated Pratap all the more- HK was holding Ajabde as she clutched his shoulders trying to get away from the mouse- she was scared of mice since she was a baby. One time a big mat ugly mouse had bitten her as he tried to feed him some cheese and then as a punishment her father had locked her up in a room full of mice. If her mother would have been there she might have been spared but she had gone for a visit to the temple in a nearby village. Ajabde remembered that dark night clearly and on seeing that mouse reminded her of that - she had not yet fully recovered so the toll of seeing the mouse was she fainted and HK caught her making Pratap all the more angry
Shakti looked at his brother and then towards the scene causing his anger- his brother cared for the Bijolia princess no the right word would be love. His elder brother was in love with Rajkumari Ajabde and he wanted to dismember Hakim Khan at the moment. He touched his brother's shoulder and said to him we will settle our differences later but right now she needs you he said looking at the unconscious girl who was calling Pratap's name
Pratap went ahead to HK taking Ajabde in his arms and sat her down against a tree proceeding to sprinkle some water on her face. Ajabde gained consciousness and on seeing Pratap she said is the mouse dead?
Chapter 28
Hakim Khan gathered the big fat mouse in his hands softly stroking him while Ajabde stayed far away in a corner. He understood that she was scared of mice but she did not have to be scared from Raja as he was his friend and had been for the past 8 years. Mischievous fellow Raja could do tasks that the bravest of the warriors had trouble completing but HK knew that Raja's presence was working wonderfully for Pratap as his beloved was away from him that was true Pratap was happy that the mouse had created space- much needed space between HK and Ajabde. Ajabde had been scared of the mouse and her first question on whether the mouse was dead or not had him laughing but her glare calmed him down quickly. HK had taken the opportunity to introduce his friend Raja which led to a certain sense of recognition wash over Ajabde but then she politely requested him to make sure that his friend stayed away from her- as far as he could
Ajabde understood why HK apologised to her before but at the time she was thinking he might jump in the fight to stop them never she had thought that a mouse would lead the fight to stop- well it was not the mouse but her scream followed by fainting in HK's arms and obviously her fear of mice was now known by everyone present she glared at her own weak self.
HK sat by her side and said: I apologise for the trouble Raja caused as we had no idea that you did not like members of his species but if you give a chance then Raja would like to try and be your friend as well. He is a really good friend so whenever you are ready let us know and we will come to you
Ajabde remained silent but acknowledged the request she was not yet ready for them at the moment but she would love to try and she knew she could not do it all by herself so she needed someone to be there for her as she took the step but the question was would he be there after this new revelation of hers
Pratap kept staring at the girl sitting by his side who seemed scared yet determined to get over her fear of the rodent. Ajabde had requested him to join her for a task she needed to do and required some assistance and as per the bet he could not say NO to her (as if he would refuse any of her wishes) he joined her and was glad he did because sitting right in front of them was HK with the mouse that had scared Ajabde
Ajabde took a deep breath, said a little prayer and said: Let's do this
Chapter 29
It is said that making friends is quite easy but making it work can be a daunting task- sometimes people click and they become friends while others may just meet through a common person. Animals and humans have been friends for a very long time yet many humans do not appreciate the beauty of loyal friendship they get from animals instead they hurt them breaking spirits of the animal
Now as the staring game began no one knew what was going to happen will Ajabde be able to make Raja her friend or will she remained scared of mice all her life. Pratap and Hakim Khan stayed close by as moral support but even they were curious to know the result of the entire mission of making friends. Raja took a few steps towards Ajabde making her gasp but she didn't move- HK was ready to move Raja back but Pratap stopped him: Let her do this I know she can all she needs is some time just like Raja needs to recognise her as well. They both nodded and backed off
Raja kept on moving forward till he reached Ajabde and started cuddling with her making her look at his adorable antics. She tentatively stretched her hand out to touch him but as he backed up she froze thinking about the bite she had received as a child. As she moved her hand back Pratap stopped her- he held her outstretched hand and guided it to Raja who was nibbling on her dupatta (naughty mouse)
Pratap: Don't be scared Ajab. I'm right here and Raja is not going to bite you- he is good little fellow- right Raja (HK nodded his head)
With Pratap by her side (holding her hand) Ajabde did the unthinkable she stroked Raja's back feeling the soft fur while Raja who enjoyed being stroked sat down like a royal having a massage. HK brought out some seeds: You can feed him if you like Shehzaadi (giving Pratap the seeds)
She took a few from Pratap keeping them on her palm and stretched it for Raja to have them- the naughty mouse looked at his favourite treats and pounced on her hand. Both the men looked ready to move the two if the situation arose but it never came instead they heard Ajabde giggling and smiling
She looked at Pratap: Look he is actually eating them. I'm feeding Raja
Pratap: Looks like you overcame your fear Ajabde making her grin.
