Hello "G" Company Girls!!! I so enjoyed reading all your posts ' what wonderful memories; also enjoyed all the different perceptions.
@Van Didi ' so wonderful to hear from you!!! I do so enjoy your translations ... you express so beautifully the passion of the dialogues!!! I could actually feel the emotions!!! As for all the cheerfulness and activeness on the forum, you guessed it ... the topic is Guddu Shuklaπ!!! Just the mention of his name and you get action. That's a nice way to get all the "G" Girls here, isn't itπ?
Your mention of your only hobby reminds me of a conversation I had with one of my cousins ... somehow the topic came up and I mentioned my fascination with BBAT and the forum. She was so astounded, she couldn't believe I could get so deeply involved in a serial ... anybody else, but not prim and proper indi! Could you imagine if she read my outpourings about "G"π?
I'm looking forward to your next visit! I do miss your presence here!
πOh my word!! Wow, wow,and wow!! Fantabulous posts all!! G girls...you have outdone yourselves!!π So proud of our Super G unit !! And all credit goes to...you got it, the one and only...King of Kannauj!!
The" lord and master "of the BBAT forum it would seem!!π@ van...a classic !! Jay, you were right!! Depend on our dear Van to come up with a perfect answer!! Van, please don't stay away for so long, it's just not the same, seriously!! Plus I rely on your perfect BBAT memory, while I watch reruns all the time, I do so without the benefit of subtitles!! Actually I usually just end up watching those short Gunjuhn clips since it's easier for me to follow without subtitles. But these clips only include the episodes up to MD's wedding!!Back on the road again, for 2 weeks or so, would try and post if possible. Please, please keep posting !!
Vanfan Di, just realized my mistake - confused Nyquil with Benadryl. My apologies!!
So excited to read your posts also. Loved your analysis and answers. Like Leesan, I also enjoy reading your interpretation of the episodes since you have an excellent knowledge of Hindi which is lost in the translation. And yes, who can forget Mast mast do nain - to this day, every time I hear this song I imagine R & G and not Salman Khan. Also the bar dance - Munni badnaam ... G portrayed a drunk really well and was a delight to watch Jabbu's dancing!!
OK guys, enough now, ta, and keep posting!!
Much love!
Jps01- even I did not like that scene but what i meant, if I was not clear earlier was the way they enacted it and his expressions and the hurt he felt for R and the anger for the M&M was very nicely portrayed. Even though he was showing he was angry and did not care for R, it was cleary visible that the feeling/ attachment was there and just because he felt betrayed so he was running away from it. It was so naturally done.Vanfan Di, just realized my mistake - confused Nyquil with Benadryl. My apologies!!
"Paging Vanfan Di, you have a lot of reading to catch up with us. Been missing for a while now, hope all is well!!! Hope its only work and not another case of Benadryl!!!"

Vanfan Di, my interpretation of the time she touched his shoulders - I always thought that she was never comfortable touching him since the infamous "touching scene" and that he felt she was now beginning to trust him a little by resting her hands on his shoulders. It was subtly done!!
@ Pensink, did not like that scene with R having to clean Mittho's intended SIL's shoes. I cannot comprehend another human so sick that she would have a relative, albeit a married one (R), do this, not to mention G was in the house and saw it!!! Aargh, no wonder I cannot get over my hate for the M&Ms. But yes, both R and G were great in this scene.
And who can forget the Bhaang scene in the bedroom until the calendar issue reared its ugly head. G was at his loving best here!!! Gosh, we really did not have much love scenes between these two - they were more separated than together during the entire show!!! Remember how Mittho commented to Kalsanwali that all the time she is married, her husband has not done anything like that to her!!!!π³

@ Indi, OMG, I echo your sentiments here!!!! We must be suffering from the same disease!!!π Where's Leesan? Indi, she said she is on the road for the next 2 weeks again, now we have to wonder! Kannauj or somewhere else?π
@ Pensink, agree, their portrayal of that particular scene was superb! Its just I cannot watch or tolerate anything negative in life, somehow I tend to take everything to heart! Need to toughen up my shell!!!π
@ Vanfan Di, see I am the allergy girl so hence my Benadryl thinking! LOL!!
And of course, I also believe that touch did a lot to both of them especially G! Their acting was just brilliant!! And I cannot move on to anything else too!!! Got the G in my blood!!!
Have a good night my dearest buddies, tomorrow is Friday, yay!!!
