As promised... I guess it's time to discuss the issue at hand!
" Thank your lucky stars...!" I will never look at that statement in the same way ever again! Runjuhn was born under those lucky stars, and for a long time her " luck/ bhaag" benefitted everyone else except herself.
According to Az, her bhaag seemed to have a mind of its own, and once activated ,it became a force to reckon with. Some would argue that G was part and parcel of R's bhaag...maybe so. What I will say is that both R and G were powerless ,once drawn into the magical and mystical web that was created, there was no turning back...for either of them! No matter how hard they fought it, their attraction to each other was irresistible, and in the end nothing or no one could keep them apart. Actually, whatever events were designed to separate them, in the end only served to bring them closer together. The bhaag was in full force, and the force was with them both!
And amidst all the hate, anger, indifference, interference...amazingly,love still managed to blossom! R's bhaag not only brought them together but protected them both when everyone else seemed determined to keep them apart, all for their own selfish and evil motives! Whilst G's business thrived ,more importantly so did his character and his relationship with R .G became a changed man, and in many ways so did R. Love changes everything ...and everyone!! R seemed to almost be controlling her destiny with the issuance of the challenge, in that she was subconsciously directing her bhaag for her own good as well as G's.
Yes, there were so many examples of R's bhaag benefiting G : his mother's recovery, his success in business, his personal safety, etc. But the most significant benefit was the gradual, positive changes in G himself, and in this way R benefited the most.G became a better man and in so doing a better husband to R. And this effected changes in R herself. She began to believe that she was worthy of being loved and so could be free to return this love to her spouse,G. It took some time, but it happened!
Once R was single minded re G , her bhaag worked for them both, whenever she faltered, and doubted G , her bhaag's influence seemed to weaken. In other words, her bhaag seemed to work best when she was proactive instead of reactive. Well...except on that ominous occasion!! Here I choose to blame the CVs rather than the bhaag... I still get angry even after all this time! Why did R's bhaag fail to stop the bullet as well as the "wedding", I will never understand!!
In the end, the bhaag benefitted them both, since they came together as a couple under forced circumstances, true, but we all know it was meant to be! Why ? Because in spite of all the obstacles, they both fell so hopelessly and helplessly in love with each other. In other words, it could not be avoided... It was always written in the stars!!
