By Leesan: @ indi, @ pensink91... And I thought I was missing BBAT!! Wow!! No matter how hard we try ,we still cannot get Gunjuhn out of our systems!! Maybe I am really not trying hard enough, who knows??

What I do know is that there is nothing out there on Zee that I am remotely interested in at present. Indi, I take your point re Zee trying to highlight important women's issues as it pertains to Indian culture and traditions. However the shows always seem to deteriorate to the same old tried and tested mil/dil/sil or fil/dil /bil drama,( sometimes even the grandmas get in on the act!!) which I absolutely detest!! Just way too many evil/jealous/controlling relatives under the same roof!! With no escape in sight!!

Have to agree Vaishali, BBAT was in a class of its own!! Whilst R's relatives were evil and created many misunderstandings, R was free to leave with G if she so wanted, and they had the choice to make a life of their own, apart from all family influences. No saas/Bahu nonsense, thank God!! Also the tensions that existed between R and G were mostly due to their own personality clashes, though exploited by the M&Ms. And it was that tension / attraction that we were so addicted to, we all wanted to see how they would eventually resolve their differences, and fall in love!! And when they did, it was pure magic!!

And so that word ,magic, brings me to the new topic suggestion!! Yes ,...the name of our beloved show Bhagonwali!! I had never heard the term before, did not understand the significance of a kundali , and the influence of astrology on arranging a marriage was an eye opener for me as well!!
So... What were your most/least favorite examples of R's bhaag in the show? Did it help or hurt R and G's relationship? Would R ,and by extension G ,have been better off without it? How come R's bhaag seemed to be selective at times? At what point would you have liked to see her bhaag work ,when it didn't seem to? Would you have preferred to see more of her bhaag in action, or would it have made the show too fable-ish?

Anxiously awaiting your thoughts and ideas, please take your time, but please keep posting !!

Leesan, to write on the topic per your suggestion it would take some time. But yes, i believe her bhaag definitely affected her relationship with G, and that was the reason of their big separation as she left to help her good for nothing relatives with her bhaag. she did not care for G or his love or all that he did for her but always cared about her M&Ms. So if this Bhaag, as in the early phases when it was mentioned that once they consummate their marriage it would not work for her relatives but rather for her husband, had been shown to really work that way the separation may not have happened. They could have shown some realization on R's part.
And, agree 100% the reason I liked BBAT so much was there was no saas bahu saazish. Well said no matter how much they show the social issues these shows still deteriorate to the same saas bahu drama. That is one of the reasons I have not been able to like any other shows so far. Plus the leads in most of the shows are shown to be dumb, they dont speak at all leading to so many misunderstandings.
More later.
love to all!!🤗

Aha, So now I know why Indi has been missing in action !!! Zee TV!!! Aaawww Indi, I cannot get over my love for Guddu Shukla and his Dharampatni so I refuse to move on. See I am one of those people that love for life but honestly, cannot find anything to hold my interest, especially not on Zee! Every now and then I watch Sony comedy but since they have no English subtitles and I do not understand the language I miss the jest of it. From the actions, I laugh at my own interpretations!!!

Pensink, you are on the ball this week and I am so happy to see you!! And I do agree with all your comments about Runjhun and her bhaag.
Leesan, interesting topic!! have to sit and think what I will write before I comment! You know how I can talk non-stop about one person only!!!!😳 (no snickering here!)
All I know is despite all the difficulties Runjhun experienced, her bhaag confirmed that she was meant for Guddu Shukla only!! Will elaborate more later!!!
Big hugs to United "G".😃

Hello Ladies,

Making Lovely posts. Leesan very intresting suggestion for the topic.

I am like the rest of you not intrested in any otehr show but can watch the reruns and archives many times over of BBAT.

Watching BBAT prompted me to take part in a forum and when it stopped I lost the wish to be active on the forum for any other then BBAT. So I sneakpeak many times but did not had the time to write anything.

The comment that a slight realization from Runjhuns side about the plight of her husband and giving p her useless mama mami would have been good,

I remmeber when I joind the forum there were topics about that Runjhun can never be abe to repay what her mama mami had done for her by keeing her in their home and helping her in her time of need.

I was very illmannered and said that by helping her they cannot make her thier lifelong slave.

And the person said again that Runjhun better never forget that her mama mami helped her.

And that is what Runjhun did. She never forgot that they gave her shelter when she needed it most. On the other hand I find that Runjhun vas very narrowminded. She could forgive her near ones even murder but not Guddu. Even if it was she who made the polise compalined to help her mama mami and she wants him to understand and forgive her about it.

About her bhaag. I mean even her mama mami wanted to controll her bhaag by not letting her get married but her bhaag had its own ways. and in the simmilar ways it decided when it want to come forward and when not.

It was her bhaag who made sure that Guddu was around to help her everytime she needed it. His presence was the cause that she had happy times in her mama mamis home when ever he was away she was in trouble and suffered. So I mean that they could only be happy togather despite all the hardships. But when the were apart it was Guddu who had an easy time and she suffrered- She needed Guddu even for her own good luck to work for her. It was only after she moved out with him that she got that Gold chain and those twenty lakhs.

But the Dosh went to Guddu. The dark side of the eclips. And i belive that Guddu had as strong a kundli and thus could ward off much of it and jut needed to do a little to cvompensate the rest.

I would love to see the scene When Mithu again has give away Runjhun to Aghoribaba and he wants to marry Runjhun since according to her KKundli she should be married to a prince and the Aghori belongs to a royal bloodline. Guddu catches him and then it comes out that Guddu also is a prince and Jabbo tried to shoot him but harms him very lightly as his target was again Runjhun or Kukkan? I think it was kukkan.

@vedi ,nice post. Yes I was glad too that BBAT at least had a far better ending than RMJ. Actually I do not think I will watch Phir subah hogil. I cannot take women exploitation even on TV and that seems to be the central theme. Not my cup of tea. But I do watch HD, AB and PV on Zee. It is amazing how unemotionally and detached I can watch these shows compared to BBAT. I do not like MKKPB never did. 😊

Love to all and have a great day!😃

@Van didi ' It's always a treat to hear from you' I so look forward to your posts. I see that your husband "got" you this time!!! (LOL!!!) Good for him!!! It's nice if you (the neck) would let him "win" sometimes!! My mom used to "outsmart" my father a lot ' I think, though, that he always knew what she was up to, but he just indulged her to let her feel good!

As for my grandmother, she passed away some years ago ' I was so devastated ' I still miss her! I loved my grandmother so very much!! I think you are so fortunate to still have your grandmother!!

"It is amazing how unemotionally and detached I can watch these shows compared to BBAT. I do not like MKKPB never did." ' while I do look at some of these shows intermittently, they just don't seem to appeal to me. "Unemotional and Detached" definitely describe my feelings. Seems all I do is compare them with BBAT and they all come up short!!! With BBAT, however, I could not wait for the next episode. I am ashamed to admit that I looked at the episodes the first time they aired, then the two reruns of the same episode (one at 2:00 a.m.)!!! Wasn't that madness? Everything about BBAT captivated me ' the theme song, the story, the actors!!! It was truly a wonderful show ' wonder if I'll ever enjoy another show again!! That's the effect Guddu & Runjhun Shukla had on me!

@ leesan ... "... And I thought I was missing BBAT!! Wow!! No matter how hard we try ,we still cannot get Gunjuhn out of our systems!! Maybe I am really not trying hard enough, who knows??" (LOL!!) I don't think that I'm trying at all!!! You know us BBAT addicts!

later!
