OK, as for Runjhun's new avatar, I also did not like it. I hated the shrieking and screaming on top of her lungs all the time. For me she was not Runjhun but someone else! I disliked the CVs idea of a JMR, it was more of a joke that reality. I felt they were making fun of Nivi! Thank God, it did not last too long and I was most affected when she did not recognize Amma or Guddu. I could care less how she treated the M&Ms because I still do not believe they were punished according to the crime - it was not even a slap on the wrist!!😡 I did like her hairstyle, not her dressing (Niv does look absolutely great in sarees!!). I enjoyed seeing a free spirited JMR (not Runjhun) run around especially at the temple, the scenes with them letting the air out of her uncle's car tires, the motorcycle scene with them together and how she kept hitting him whenever she felt like. Her comfort level with him in these scenes were the best as in the earlier scenes it was not there. Of course, she never thought of him as a husband.

Bottom line, I was not happy with this new avatar nor her antics!!

Ok,Nikki and members of the illustrious G Company...as promised, so here goes!!

"Runjuhn's new avatar",... the term alone still manages to evoke such a visceral response in my mind...and in my heart. To fully understand,we need to go back a bit in BBAT history. When the term was first used by Mr.Khalid , a BBAT producer, we were all deep in the throes of the never ending,depressing Neelu infused,separation track!! Ugh!!
Hence the announcement of R's new avatar was a sign of hope: the end of the N track, a Gunjuhn reunion, M&M punishment, etc.etc. After months of pain ,frustration and disillusionment,finally...light at the end of that long dark evil tunnel!! A bright spot, a silver lining, a ray of sunshine,and a new beginning for our beloved Gunjuhn!!

Then suddenly someone on the forum reported a new show being advertized in BBAT's time slot, and all hell broke loose!! Shock waves spread like a tsunami across the forum, along with intense feelings of anger,confusion and betrayal. Our beloved show was coming to an end,and yet there was still no reunion !! However we did get a "wedding"!😔😡!! I remember those days as some of the lowest and darkest moments on the forum for me.
Well,everything seemed to happen pretty quickly after that. The culprits were exposed and N was now dead!! Still...no Runjuhn?!

Then lo and behold, G locates R ,but alas she is not our Runjuhn after all...she is Joota Mata Rani!! Silly and ridiculous...yes, but I was so relieved at not having to see the smirking face of the nautanki any longer that I gladly went along for the ride. With the news of the 2 week extension, we were all so elated!! At last, we would get the ending we all so fervently hoped for!! Lots of lovely romantic Gunjuhn moments!! Or so we thought!!

Instead we got a few cute scenes between JMR and G, lots of screaming and screeching and more and more of the M&Ms!!!
While I have always loved Runjuhn's strong,resolute, and dignified character...I had hoped her new avatar would tweak her personality somewhat into someone more assertive towards her evil relatives, and more trusting ,supportive and open with her husband. Did not happen!!

All in all, Runjuhn's new avatar turned out to be a big disappointment, especially in light of the fact that the show was ending. Yes R looked very pretty, and I did appreciate her gaiety, openness and physical ease with which she approached G,but in reality it was not R, and her childish tantrums grated on my nerves after a while. As usual, the CVs stretched this track for far too long, and dashed all of our hopes for a beautiful,dignified ending to our beloved show!! Such a travesty!!

I wish I could have been more positive in my outlook, but then I would not have been honest . Anyways, hope I have not upset anyone, please keep posting!!

@vedi...great post!! Have to agree, the role reversal between R and G was the highlight of this track for me as well. I especially loved that asylum scene you described. My heart was breaking for G!! I also enjoyed when R felt the need to sleep next to G, and how happy he was just to be so close to her. I just think I would have preferred if R had regained her memory a lot earlier.Even if she were upset with G, it would have been more interesting to see G trying to win her back ,with all her senses intact!!

Hi girls, where are all my friends today. No one around 😕!! Guess everyone is busy🥱.

Had to share this with you guys - H's brother Mohit also celebrated his birthday on April 4th and he posted that he and his family are celebrating in Macau!!! So maybe that where G/H is!!!

On another note, remember Neelu often sent photos of her and Guddu together to PY, we never found out who took those photos out, did we?

No Leesan, not trying to divert the subject to G, but could not help myself!!!

By the way, lovely posts by all on Runjhun's new Avatar! Gosh, you guys are really good - I love the analysis!!!😛

Hi Girls, Read all your posts .. very interesting views on R's new avatar. Seems that we all agree that it was disappointing ... At the beginning, the CVS really had us all excited with their promotion of R's new avatar. I guess we were ready to welcome anything just to get away from those nasty episodes with the nautanki!!! Do you all remember how mad we were ... posting all those angry comments ... sometimes after posting I felt so ashamed of myself for berating the CVs and Zee TV with such nasty adjectives 😳 !

@jps01 ... Always grateful for all the news from you! However, you seem so excited, please don't head out to Macau ... I'm right here keeping a close watch on you😉!

I would have really liked to know who took those pictures ... there were so many matters that we never got closure for ... Talk about cliff hangers ...ZEE TV really left us hanging!! What a shame, there was still so much to tell in Bhagonwali!!! Reading leesan's post this morning brought back all those memories ... good and bad ... so many feelings of nostalgia that I immediately went to view a few of the happier scenes ... no need to say ... scenes that all included "G"😃! Some were the very early scenes with his Gunda outfits and beard ... Lord, but the man was totally gorgeous!!! How I miss Bhagonwali and G&R!

@jps01 ... I'm trying to keep an eye on leesan but it's very difficult with her travelling ... she's quite capable of leading us astray; with all that travelling she could easily slip out to kannauj, or is it Macau today😔? But don't worry too much, I don't think the stars are in her favour ... she could easily "miss" Himm/G😉!!!! Nevertheless, I would like to know her whereabouts ... wonder if I can spot her on google!!!

Hey girls ... just occurred to me ... with all this tracking, we would have done well in Bhagonwali tracking the nautanki and all the old baddies, don't you think!!! Imagine, we would have been starring with our "G"😃!!!!
