Hi my lovely Leesan ... how are you doing todayπŸ˜›? Missed you yesterday!!

godblessall .. . what a nice idea to have a birthday celebration for our G!!! Will certainly think about it!!

Van didi, jps, pensinki, vedi, nikki, leesan, godblessall ...Have a nice day Girls!!

@ indi...first you describe a knockout blow, then you have the nerve to ask how I'm doing??!!

Trying to butter me up,Missy?? Hmmm... Well, it worked!! I am back on the road less traveled ...as usual. Lots of "road blocks", but hanging in there, as best as can be expected. So much to do and so little time to do it, oh well, the story of my life!! πŸ˜•!!

@vanfan ,@vedi...great posts as usual... Even if it's on the malfeasant M&Ms!! Van, I know you often comment on the writing and language used on BBAT, but as I have often said ...so much was lost in translation!! Such a pity, I feel cheated of the full BBAT experience somehow.
As a result, the non Hindi speakers were just left with ...well, the ever evil ,forever fiendish, malicious M&Ms!! Sadly, I have witnessed this type of family drama all too often in my career. Family members who take on the responsibly of poorer, or orphaned relatives and then taking advantage of them in the worst ways possible!! The treatment of R by her relatives was unforgivable, and the fact that they encouraged her cousins to do the same was beyond cruel.

Vedi, yes each of the Mamis maintained their individual personas, but every time I saw Mitho I would brace myself for the inevitable "Hai Hai!...",usually accompanied by the curl of her lips!!

Kalsanwali, was the funniest of the lot!! I always remember her giving advice to R as to how to deal with N... a kick !! Whilst Mittho had the lip curl, kasanwali often tilted her head and gestured with her hands, and Billo rani often huffed and puffed and had a distinctive way of moving her lips completely to one side of her face!! Mittho was definitely more conspiratorial, but was quick to feign innocence upon discovery or suspicion. They were all incorrigible to the bitter end. But somehow ,somewhere in Kannauj,I am sure they are up to their old tricks !! They can never give up!! Just hope that our Gunjuhn have managed to run away from home and out of the cruel clutches of the M&Ms... forever!!

You know, I really never liked the M&Ms as I found them to have no heart and were selfish and mean to the bone!!😑 I understand they were also unique in their dialogues, clothing and respective selves, but I hated them with a passion!!!🀒 My apologies!!!

The only one who had a little heart was Bantu!!

Awww Jps01,πŸ€— Could never be mad at you. I hated them with a passion also. I thought that they always had way too much screen time. By the end of the show, all I wanted was them to be off my screen especially after colluding with the nautanki. Now that it's all over, I'm very nostalgic and I can honestly say that I do appreciate the way the characters were portrayed. As evil and dastardly as they were, BBAT wouldn't have been the same without them. I did laugh at some of their antics and their dialogues. I wished the CV's did not involve them in murder and torture plots. Those were extreme and unforgivable.!!!! They should have just kept them as bumbling incompetent schemers.

I too thought Bantu was the harmless one until the ransom scheme. From that moment on, I did not see Billo and him as any less evil than the others. It galls me that they were not punished for their numerous crimes. Also, hated the fact that they were still living in LN at the end of the show. Very hard for me to envision a happily ever after for Gunjhun with them on the same premises.😭 That was truly one of the biggest disappointments for me in the ending.

Good morning everybody! Jps01, I can never be mad at you for that. I do understand your feeling but all my hate and disgust has only one target in BBAT and that is Neelu. 😑😑I do not say I loved M&M but to me they were not able to contaminate G like N. 🀒I just boil when I think of how much that character polluted BBAT. I know it is a TV show and it is very unlike me to have such strong emotions in real life let alone for a character on TV. I have said I will not follow any another show just because Himm and Niv are in it, because it will depend on the show more. But I am very sure that I will not watch a show/movie just because the person playing Neelu is in it. It may be stupid but it is beyond my tolerance level even to see that face for a minute. So I can understand your passion but as a story to have villains I will take M&Ms10 times over N. But then we have already agreed to disagree on that.😊
Vedi, coming back to your funny part yes, it was one of my favorite scenes too. But G was amazing in that scene. I loved his expressions. He looked disbelievingly at R when she announced G screamed because he was afraid of a mouse. Mitto comes back with her sarcastic comment that "look at the size of this bully and then there is the mouse that managed to bully him" There were more comments from Kalsanwali while R looks worried how G might react to her lie. G just walks away with his best ever "I don't give a damn" look and lets R explain her way out. I just loved it when it just did not matter what M&M or anyone thought. See girls I hauled my discussions back to G. πŸ˜‰Happy everyone?πŸ˜†

Hi girls, ... late today, but still here! Very interesting reading!

jps01 .. thank you for posting the FB letter ... so wonderful ... it truly reflected our feelings! And Himm's response, he's so humble .. loved the way he gave the credit to his parents!! jps, maybe you can post a birthday message on Himm's FB page from us United "G" Company" girls.

As for the M&Ms, I too disliked them intensely, especially Mitho ... I think she was the most dangerous and nasty one! Mitho was poison through and through .. at times she even hated her own husband ... The woman never gave up, she just went on and on and on ... Of course, Kalsanwali was not far behind with her husband! Mitho with her twisted lips and murmurings under her breathe, kalsanwali - a barking dog mostly, and Billo with her "to" ... What was the good part though, was despite all their plotting, G&R always won at the end of the day! However, when I look back at the story as a whole, their characters were interesting and did contribute towards the story line ...I guess every story needs to have some evil antagonist to challenge the good ... it makes interesting viewing ... But as vedi said, the CVs should have just kept them as bumbling idiots and not involve them with the nautanki or murder plots.

@leesan ... was missing your presence on the forum and knew exactly how to get you here! I just baited you and ... voila! ...πŸ˜† there you were!!! Gotcha!!!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Hello ladies, enjoyed reading all your posts on the M&Ms. I think I stopped watching BBAT when the M&M's dunked Runjhun's head in water - that was extreme for television and me. In all my life I have never witnessed something so inhumane and I was traumatized!! So that scene did it for me, after that even if they had gold oozing from their mouth, I did not buy into it!!

And Vanfan Di, I also immensely dislike that Neelu character and how it relates to BBAT and thereafter. I feel the same way about watching her on the screen ever again - she will always be the evil Neelu to me!!!🀒

Vedi, Pensink, Godblessall, Indi and oh, where is our friend Leesan? Since H's birthday is coming up, she disappeared, maybe she is on her way to Kannauj!!! But I am definitely not too worried as she claims she is first in line for Guddu Shukla and not H.😳 Us girls know who is where in that line and which animal is taking us there!!πŸ˜›

Indi, great idea, think we can come up with something by Sunday for H. I can only contribute by words but love your idea!!!😊 Any takers????? Vanfan Di???

Wishing you all a very happy weekend!

Much love!!

How are my lovely ladies of the United G company doing?! Nice to see everyone still trying to keep the forum going, I really appreciate all your efforts especially after a long arduous day of work!!

@indi... Nice try...and it worked, got me to post at least, good going!! But please don't get too overconfident, remember Himm's birthday is fast approaching and so is April Fools Day!! Watch it !! At least Jay is on the alert, you should be as well !!πŸ˜‰

@ Van, @Jay,...now for my most hated BBAT character!! Yes...the nefarious nautanki !! What a painful time that was for me and for us all, I'm sure. Actually that's when I felt compelled to join the forum, I was so distraught by the turn of events. Never in my wildest imagination did I ever think it would degenerate to such an extent!! Actually, I would complain so bitterly about the track/ CVs that @ Az often felt I was overdoing it. Maybe I was, but I was so concerned about the future of the show as so many fans were turned off at that point. Neelu's antics made me sick to my stomach, and they just went from bad to worse to worst!!

I remember the forum reacting so violently to Neelu's role, and many of the members were so incensed ,that the recommended forms of punishment for Neelu's misdeeds became a source of great amusement!!
Tight slaps, kicks, hangings, burnings and one member went as far as wishing that N was infected by an incurable disease!! My word!! Nice, decent people turning into vengeful violent ones, all because of N!!

Such was her negative impact on BBAT,that I can never watch those toxic shows again...never!! I still think that what the CVs did was unforgivable on so many levels, but I have had to move on if I want to keep the beautiful experience that was BBAT close to my heart... And I do!!

So I have expunged those awful memories as best as I can, just wish that the CVs would have been more helpful after all the damage they inflicted and for so long, by giving us a better ending to the show. I guess this is now water under the bridge, and I think we have all moved on... or have we??πŸ˜•

Anyhoo, have a great weekend girls, take care of yourselves and please,please...keep posting !!!

Runjhun's mama-mamis fail to generate any positive thoughts in me about them whenever I recall their acts as a whole...they are selfish, inhuman, lazy, deceitful, opportunist, liar, crooked and an absolutely ungrateful bunch of people...They even use their own children to fulfill their greed...😑...so the thought of mama-mamis still disgust me ( but definitely not to the extent of Neelu !!)
But whenever I think about the actors playing m&ms role, I feel sad...there is no doubt all of them are superb actors...they never failed to do justice to the scripts they were given to enact...each and every episode of Bhagonwali was entwined with flawless negativity of the mama -mamis ...and here is exactly where my problem stays..!!! I mean why so much negativity and same brooding conspiracy day after day with these whole lot of six people..!! The makers got so good actors , they could have done every emotion prefectly in my opinion...but they were never given that chance properly..!! No variation of character was offered to them...!!
I was actually liking the change in the nature of the m&ms in the period when Runjhun left home and staying with them and then Neelu came in the picture. That time it seemed like they finally learnt their mistake , they were also trying to comfort Runjhun . This was really a very nice change for me for the m&ms. I never expected they will become saint any time, but what I thought the characters will at least turn gray from being completely negative...but this was not the case...πŸ˜•
The makers ( both the channel and cvs ) were so obcessed to show Neelu's victory and Guddu-Neelu marriage track that they became completely directionless with the mama-mami characters...every other day they were comming with a new conspiracy by either one of the m&ms that was not only cofusing but also boring and pointless. The same antics, same line of dialogues made no sense other than dragging .πŸ˜” I hated to see Buntu Mama in turban disguise in those days while I thought he is the one who was shown with little humanity and simplicity in the show unlike his brothers...but that was also ruined...!!
Now what can I say about the ending...!! The mama-mamis never got their due punishment in the story-line , rather they were pulled to glory ..!! Now this is kind of unacceptable ..!! Joota mata's treatment to them never seemed proper punishment to me...it rather seemed comic and hopeless ..😳...so they finally came out spotless..moreover their contribution in Runjhun kidnap fiasco was never revealed...!!
As I've said earlier , the last episode of Bhagonwali was actually the send-off party from the entire unit, rather than the epilogue of the story that it was supposed to be. Where there was one-minute solution for every confusion, all happy and gay , sticking to each other, dancing away...this makes me feel good for the actors who put their labour round the clock for making the show so close to our hearts, but does not do justice to the beautiful story that we fell in love with . Neither does it compensate the mental agony that we went through episode after episode for the illogical meaningless trash served at the end...πŸ˜’

So Yes ... I have also been thinking about Himm's Birthday. I have no special idea about what we could possibly gift him if not words. But giving him something on behalf of us United G girls is a great idea. If somebody could come up with a different idea something i dunno special? ⭐️
Harjeet's letter to Himanshoo reflected alot of things we felt for him but she was right one letter couldnt depict all we want to tell him. It was wonderrful. I had that bout of love again while reading Harjeet's letter and Himanshoo's reply. Wonderful!
I simple adore Guddu's character and sometimes I tilt to Leesan's view ... Feeling more for Guddu dan HImanshoo πŸ˜† But that thought soon goes. I loved Himanshoo because of his great acting but my love grew when I got to know of his personality.. He is also a wonderful person and a very humble one ( at least from what I know of him) And ofcourse Dashingly Handsome. 😍
Ok, So I;ve written more about Guddu! 😳
That reminds me indi. Darling, don't you worry, I can take the heat of da Guddu race. And u wait and watch .. I shall surely come first. πŸ˜‰
Coming to the ongoing discussion about M&Ms. I think I had a sort of love-hate relationship with them. They were excellent performers, no doubt but the things they did with Runjhun ! 🀒 They were creative and cruel in their ways. But I, like alot of u, think involving them in da murder nautanki was a notch higher.
, M&Ms provided the spice in da show. The arguments among themselves were sth to watch .. Hilarious ! I almost always enjoyed those scenes. Mittho's "Hai Hai" became very popular in my house. With even the smallest kid ... saying Hai Hai . πŸ˜† And ofcourse Kalsanwali wid her "Mere Baap... " and Billo Rani "Toh" πŸ˜† . Thery were very enjoyable minus the parts where u wud practically want to jump inside the TV and strangle their necks for doin sum thing or da other to our Gunjhun ! Dose scenes flashing in my mind rite now bring a fresh bout of nostalgia !
YES ... it was simply Horrible da way da makers butchered the original essence of da show... I cud at least hav understood the Neelu track as a rough patch. But how do dey justify da chance dey got wid a two week extension ?😡 They had an amazing chance of recitifying deir mistake and giving us viewers with a beautiful and conclusive ending ! OH !
So I thank all of you for da warm welcome to the United G Company where da G stand for both Guddu 😳 and Gunjhun 😍. Proud and ever so happy to be a part of da wonderful and beautiful Bhagonwali family. I feel very much a family here. πŸ€—
I will try as much as I can to drop a comment here as often as possible
Lots of Hugs and Love. πŸ€—
And please remmbr of Himm's BD, its less den 2 days away.
P.S HAPPY FRIENDSHIP DAY TO ALL OF YOU !!! ❀️

Leesan, I believe we all share the same sentiments about Neelu, CVs and Zee TV as far as where they ended up with her character!! I can't begin to tell you how much that period affected me personally, but like you, I also refuse to believe it was part of the BBAT I fell in love with!!😭

Godblessall, quite impressive post I must confess!!! So true and enjoyed every word!!!πŸ‘ Said exactly what I had in mind!!

Hello Nikki, welcome to our family again!!! Your comments are always welcome and appreciated!! Happy Friendship Day to you too!!!

United in our love for "G".
