Hi Leesan, indi, jps01, vedi, pensink, godblessall, nikki and all! Sorry, for the nonattendance but have been tied up at work. 😊Actually my boss is out today and I will get busier during the day. So writing up something quick before the day takes over with tons of emails.
Talking about new topic, I would not call this a topic but I do want to mention the relationship between the M&Ms. It is very funny to see how selfish they are but each still loved their respective spouse in their own way. Also I like the way there was a line between relationships which reflects the culture in the subtle manner. The mamis fought a lot among themselves, but also defended their own husbands at all times. Also we saw them scolding/chiding their own husbands but not each other's husbands directly. The mamas too yelled (well not Bantu) at their own wives but did not shout at their brother's wives. Again even Vishnu however evil he was always showed respect to his elder brothers and their wives too. There are many examples but the one which I remember now is on 8/8 episode (yes that is our favorite R's love declaration episode but I am drawing away from G&R for a moment). When the three brothers reach the lonely building ad Vishnu is yelling at Kalsanwali and not at Mitto. Rajju yells at Vishnu by defending Kalsanwali that Vishnu is more at fault. It was actually the funniest part in that episode and like the way they all fight and unit as needed. Again here was a funny dialogue which was missed in translation.
Mitto asks the brothers to stop fighting and plan on next action to save themselves. Rajju says Guddu will present them with the sighting of "God Yama" while they are alive. (Actually Yama is God of death and you are supposed to see him only when you die.) I also liked when Rajju yelled at Vishnu why he had to leave and he should have made a phone call instead. Vishnu replies "Is this pace the Taj Mahal that anyone would know where to come when mentioned". In fact there were many funny stuff that was lost in translation that Vishnu and Mitto said.
That is all for now folks! I am not sure how far this discussion will go with you single-minded young ladies fixated with Guddu but I promise I will come back to G in the next topic.πŸ˜ƒ I thought we could use a break in discussions from G & R but please do not think in any way that the fight for G is to be stopped. Please continue and I am keeping an eye on all of you! No cheating! πŸ˜†Love to all and wishing you all a nice day!

Good Morning My Friends.!!!

No No. I promise, I didn't abscond with G nor was I anywhere near kali ghat yesterday. Might have been preferable though. Instead I was hanging with the verizon fios guy all day. So I would like to announce that I'm now the proud owner of even more indian channels. Something, the tvholic, myself and our household does not need.πŸ˜› I did steal the remote briefly to surf new to me Starplus channel. Nothing to report. Coming to the conclusion no show will be replacing BBAT for me anytime soon.😭 I was relieved to see that I'm not the only one who refuses to touch the chaskameter for any other forum. I thought it was just me.!!!!

Now on to the new topic of the day. You guys know how much I despised the M&M's, but I must admit they have been by far the most unique group of villains I have ever seen in any show. Loved their individuality. Loved how that was reflected in their mannerisms, speech and even clothing. I also loved how they stayed true to form. The dialogues written for them were very very clever. They truly had the best lines, and I must admit the actors shone in those roles. How could we ever forget them, for me the most memorable would be meethi churi or the incorrigible Mittho Mami. She was the worst, but the best at her craft. Have never seen another two faced person like her. Enjoyed her taunts and the expressions she had. One incident I remember is her taunting Guddu for being afraid of a mouse. I don't 'know how he restrained himself in that scene. It really was too funny. Will have to think of other examples, and express them later.

Have a wonderful day Girls. Love being part of the United G Community.!!!! Much love to all of you.❀️

For those United Team "G" who are not on FB, here is a letter Harjeet wrote to Himmanshoo today, will post his reply also!!! I am sure we all have the same thoughts and expressions!!
March 29th, 2012

My Dearest Himmanshoo,

A letter can hardly take the place of a talk, at best its a one sided affair... I was saving this letter for your birthday, but yesterday, I felt from a post on our page that it was believed we needed a reminder.
How could we forget you ,and your special day, this is like saying that you have forgotten us? Do you even realize what you mean to us?
So, here I am, writing to you an open letter for all to read and comment...,
My belief has always been that, for every good thing in life ,one must wait , as one gives life a chance to take their breath away...!

Birthdays according to me are such occasions , days that hold sweet memories for the rest of our life, so one must wait for them with eagerness and the special feeling of anticipation that they bring, no matter what our age.
You are a busy person and probably not in the habit of reading such lengthy posts, so you may choose to read or totally ignore and not acknowledge it, but this is for you...,
a thought ... Which I wanted to share with all my friends here.

On your upcoming birthday... the presents you have received and are receiving will be many.
Our present cannot be material and solid, as what present can we send you that expresses, what we feel for you.
Our Love and affection cannot be wrapped and shipped, it flows and it is of mind and spirit. That which can cross the vast expanse of the oceans and mountains effortlessly.
It comes straight from the heart. So what you are receiving is an abundance of good wishes and unlimited love...

I am imagining I am talking to you and saying this, I remember watching your show and being fascinated by this handsome and full of life actor, who enchanted me and drew me to watch the show every evening this past year, without fail . You stepped into the scene and became one with your character and your fellow performers, this magic of yours on screen, cast a spell not only on me but on many and tied us to you forever as fans resulting in the formation of this beautiful group , "the Bhagonwali Family".

Stars look so beautiful in the sky and often in a childlike way we reach out to pluck them from the sky, you are one such star and many want to own a piece of you.
In reality when one goes closer to a star one realizes it's just a lump of matter and not what it seems from afar, leading to disillusionment. Remember always that people enter our lives in a million ways. There is the family you are born into and there is the family that you make as you befriend strangers. But apart from these long-term players in the drama of your life, there are those who stop by for a second. Some stop to give and some to take. Some stop to admire the view and some to adjust the angle of the picture-frame.
Outside the world of feel-good television programming and magazine articles, these people exist. We are those people, they stay only as long as they are needed. Not everyone is for every purpose and every mood and forever in our lives, as we are not in theirs. But each person, playing their part in our lives, at their turn, is irreplaceable and unforgettable. The gifts they bring are unique as are the qualities they evoke within us. Heres hoping that all the attention and adulation that you recieve will not take away the goodness and warmth from your heart. Hopefully you will be able to maintain the shine of a star for ever.

I have written such a long letter to you and yet there is so much more that i would like to say.
How can a letter say all that? I close this letter by saying, Its true that, Success and failure, life and death, happiness and misery'nothing is certain, But one assurance that I can give is that of unlimited love and affection to you from me/us.
You may or may not succeed you may not star in the romance of the century, but keep that star like quality, do not let it tarnish.

Best wishes and in anticipation of you Birthday,

Much love,
Harjeet Sethi.

@jps...thanks ever so much Jay for keeping those of us on the forum but not on FB, up to date with the latest !! The letter was beautifully written and Himm's response was so heartfelt ...I was touched by them both!!

Actually, believe it or not...I am not much of a celebrity person at all, and no offense ...but I will always "love" Guddu much more than Himm!!!πŸ˜‰

But I greatly admire Himm's talent and his portrayal of G was so perfect!! And I do wish him every success in the future. But he will always be "G" for me!! πŸ˜‰

@ Van...I had every intention of discussing the M&Ms today, your post was so interesting, but so sorry Jay did it again!! So once more it's all about G!!! Promise to keep on point the next time!! Later, ladies!!

Hmmnmm - Leesan who are you trying to kid? πŸ˜†Were you really going to post anything not related to G? πŸ˜‰We all know you too well. So I see that my feeble attempts to have the discussion waver even for a little bit has given no results. All right go ahead! Change the topic on me again. You have my consent to do so. Whatever makes you all happy I am glad to go along with.πŸ˜›

OK guys, this is my take on the M&Ms and I know all would not be happy, but please do not be mad at me!

You know, I really never liked the M&Ms as I found them to have no heart and were selfish and mean to the bone!!😑 I understand they were also unique in their dialogues, clothing and respective selves, but I hated them with a passion!!!🀒 My apologies!!!

The only one who had a little heart was Bantu!!
