Thanks Leesan, here all weekend, but still thinking - me slow😳!

Actually I thought after Amma had completed her aarti and and R was doing hers before he left the home for the interview, he made some smart alec comment to R! Have to find that episode to tell you exactly what he said that had everyone in laughs!!!!

How about the episode when R was teaching him how to act/run the mobile center and she put on his shades and shawl and came out. I think he actually laughed really loud and wide here! It actually looked so real and not acting!

Ok, OK, I am making an effort!!! LOL!😆

Ok, I got one!! Remember when G had to go for the interview with the India Mobile Company? And he had to wear a suit? Sigh...how could I ever forget how handsome G looked in that pink shirt !!! And when R stood on the stool to fix his tie,... they both always looked so perfect in pink!!! Anyways, G did not own a jacket, and some one (I can't remember whom!) wondered where he will get one. In the meantime Vishnu could not seem to find his own jacket,and was berating Kalsanwali endlessly about it!! Lo and behold, G is about to leave PN to attend the interview and V recognizes his jacket on G and attempts to stop the bike!! He then orders G to remove the jacket !! As if !!! Kukkan proceeds to manhandle V and G rides off...as debonair and irresistible as ever!! Could not stop laughing at V!!! He was so mad!!!

Come on ladies...your turn!! Remember the key word here is funny...not just G!!!😉!!!

Leesan your post reminded me of Guddu Shukla's interview preparations with Diamond when he is learning to speak English, that was so hillarious when he said "Guddu is a good boy and Kannauj is...". Also, related to that when he actually calls the IM center and they refuse to give him the Franchise as he they had offered to someone else and to show in front of R he acted as if he was rethinking and decided not to accept that offer. 😊 And then later R answered the call where they called him for interview.

Hi all! So many posts already and I have to catch on. Trying to keep the discussions about funny parts and that too only from BBAT. 😆Starting with this one. Yes. It was one of very funny dialogs by G. He was completely taken aback as he was doing R a favor by punishing Kalsanwali and instead of being impressed or grateful R reprimands him. There were a few things missed in the translation and I thought i will elaborate a little on it.
Jabbu is bragging about his new found "love" and G comes in fuming saying God must have lost his mind when he created women! He says "laadki (girl)" is someone born to fight (as "laad" means fight and "ke" after) Kukkan comes and asks what happened did Bhabhi say anything. G yells he is going to smack him if he mentions "Bhabhi" in front of him. Continues on that your bhabhi is tiny but her tongue weighs 50Kgs. Any man would lose his mind trying to talk to her. Jabbu comes in and G is preaching him now to stay away from girls as they are trouble. He uses the phrase that girl is like number 36 (I am not 100% sure but I think actually in Hindi 6 is a mirror image of 3 and the number 36 are two digits completely opposite and turned away from each other hence the phrase). He explains to Jabbu that he will benefit from keeping a minimum distance of 100 feet from any girl. Kukkan's expressions are amazing throughout this conversation. Then as G is watching R from the window Kukkan says to Jabbu you have not even started taking the medicine and look at the side effects G is having.
That was a great part to watch and one of my favorites. That is what I loved in BBAT the twist of words and phrases unlike any other series which unfortunately were lost sometimes in translation. I will see if I can pull some more examples of these kinds. Also I put this all straight from my head. Did not even have to watch that part. That is how much I love, remember and miss BBAT!

It was indeed a busy weekend. Not busy enough to not miss the show.😭 Seems to be a daily ritual.

@ Jps01...I too loved that scene where Guddu kept coming back and knocking on the door. Even though it was a funny moment with leela chachi that scene is more romantic to me. I just loved the way he looked at her. He was so much in love, he didn't want to leave her for a second. She was totally indulging him too. They were both so sweet.😍

@ Indi and Godblessall... Will we ever get over the loss of Guddu Shukla? I don't think so. Missing him so much on my Screen. There is currently no one on tv I can compare him to, not that I'm inclined to do so. He didn't need to whip off his shirt every episode for me to appreciate him.😆

@ Leesan, Awww. Feeling properly chastised and chided.😆 Will promise to stop drooling over GS. Had to admit to being a card carrying member of the Guddu Shukla appreciation society.!!!!

@Pensink91... That interview preparation was hilarious. How creepy did he sound when he spoke to Kukkan in the mobile center after the shopping episode? All the episodes relating to the setting up of the mobile center were made of win. I can watch those over and over again. Love them all.

@Vanfan, thank you for your detailed explanation of that scene. It's a shame that so much is lost in the subtitles. The dialogues in the earlier episodes were simply brilliant. Loved when they used bhojpuri too.That is one of my favorite scenes. Every moment of it.

Hey there lovely ladies of the forum!! So happy that we are still here...what a persevering lot we are!! And all for BBAT, I think we all deserve a pat on the back today...or may be a hug, but from whom?! Ok girls, especially Indi, Vedi,Jay,Godblessall...don't get carried away!!
I can just imagine what you are all must be thinking right about now!! Nope,so sorry, not going to happen...back to the topic at hand, and NO ,it's not all about G...ok?!😉😆!!!

Van, thanks ever so much for your translation and detailed explanation of that scene. Actually watched it again this weekend (no subtitles!). But so much gets lost in translation, and worse when there is NO translation!!! I wonder why Zee has never produced their serials in a DVD set WITH subtitles, I would be First in Line😉 to buy it...as usual!!

@pensink, thanks for reminding me about that hilarious interview preparation by G!! He was so dismissive of R's input, but ended up taking her advice anyway!!

@vedi, have to agree...I just love all those shows associated with the setting up of the mobile center. I especially love the scene when the company manager visits the store and awards G the franchise. When he leaves, G addresses R as " Runjuhn Shukla!" and then my favorite Gunjuhn salutation "Madame Patni!" They were both so sweet and happy in that scene!! And R was so proud of her G, she was beaming so radiantly!!! Love everything about those scenes, just wish I had my own personal translator. Van...if you ever need another job, maybe I can help!!!😊!!

Hi girls ... can't seem to get a few minutes to visit my favourite place with my favourite topic 😃 ... you know who I'm speaking about!!!

Anyway, totally enjoyed your posts but can't think of anything right now!! Well, maybe just one little one , when they setting up the mobile centre and Kukkan went to get the materials ... when he returned and was asked how he got the owner to give him the materials so late at night, sweet sweet Kukkan said he just stuck his gun in the man's face and he was most anxious to serve them!!! I also loved that entire scene ... R falling from the ladder and G catching her; G and R putting paint on each other ... and best of all, G in his black vest!!!

@van didi ... totally enjoyed your translation .. we really do miss out a lot of the dialogue ... from the little I know, I realised that we just get a synopsis of what is really said. Normally the older folks in the family would translate for me ... lazy me ... wish I had paid more attention to the language!!!

@jps01 ... thank you for the wonderful news ... I'm not going to get too excited as yet, ok? Maybe it's more than the birthday (April 2nd?) ... I hope 😃!!! And don't take on Miss First-in-Line!! Vedi ... there's really no one to take G's place; it's not only his good looks, but his acting, his mannerism, joie de vivre, dialogue, the whole package is exciting!!! Did I mention his good looks😃? His beautiful, sexy smile!

@ godblessall ... where are you today? Hope you didn't start out ahead of us! False start!!! Back to the starting line for you!!!
