Hi all, at home sick today and have not been able to post anything as my eyes are constantly watering. I will try to write something in the evening. Pensink, yes it was a hilarious episode with the fake sadhu and Guddu. I have not watched any other series which made me laugh as much as BBAT in spite of all the pain. Hello, Back at work today. Still woozy after two doses of Nyquil. Has anyone tried taking Nyquil during the day? It is very funny feeling in the head.
Coming to the discussions for the eclipse episode, it was funny to see the "gobar" being applied around MD's bed. But actually I am aware of the custom of the sun's rays not to be allowed to fall on pregnant woman. Actually I was surprised that R was actually asked to do the ritual during the eclipse. As far as I know no one should venture out during solar eclipse as the sun rays during can be harmful, so I was not only surprised to see R asked to do the ritual exactly during the eclipse and so many people out during that time too. All the rituals in the temple actually begin after the eclipse is over and you take a shower/bath before you do anything religious. This was one of the few thing I noticed completely opposite of what I have seen being observed.
Now to the fake sadhu episode. That is by far one of the funniest in BBAT. There were mixed reactions to the episode where many did not see any humor but to me that was very funny. G goes and picks "Vishwamitra"(a sage in Ramayana) to do the role and as that is his day off "Ravana" (the demon) comes to fill in the place as the fake baba. G is getting frustrated as it is obvious that this guy is fake with his loud "Ha Ha Ha" in front of every sentence (his explanation was funny too, saying he has played Ravan for 20 years and has this habit of saying "Ha Ha Ha" like the demon all the time) but R is too naive to catch that. The fake sadhu keeps saying meaningless stuff and G is twisting everything to his own convenient interpretation. That is the episode till date, R is shown a little dumb but it was cute nevertheless.

I actually started laughing after reading your post ... I remembered how frustrated G was getting with the fake baba and his ha ha ha ... and having to make up lies to cover up the baba's actions. ... G's face ... it was indeed hilarious!

van didi, jps01, leesan, pensink91, godblessall, vedi ... I'm always happy when I come here and see that you are still here ... Wish I could visit more often. I really enjoy talking to you all! How did I manage before joining this forum? I really don't know!!! See what BBAT, Guddu and Runjhun Shukla did to me?

I have been trying to follow a few of the serials on Zee ... keep falling asleep. I get so bored ... sometimes I wonder if this will last forever... would I never enjoy another story again? I remember the excitement and impatience for each episode of Bhagonwali ... the feeling used to remind me of when I was in my teens and had a good romance to read ... couldn't wait to start ... it was a strange happiness deep down inside!

Well, like my romance books, this too has ended!!!

Btw, is it only me or trere is someone else here who thinks Zee is showing one 'hot' guy ( though he looks card-board faced to me..!! ) bare-bodied or in body-hugging clothes almost in every episode to attract more female viewers in one of its much hyped show...😆
