While women go all out to stock their closet with high-end, luxe cosmetics, Saumya Tandonthinks differently. The actress, who is currently seen in 'Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai'!, has been spending a bomb on cruelty-free make-up. We hear that she doesn't mind shelling out a fortune on make-up that has not been tested on animals.

Saumya says, "It started almost two years ago when I saw how animals are used to test cosmetic products. I have heard horror stories and seen videos of how eyes of animals like rabbits are clipped to test eye shadows. To see if a product can be allergic for pregnant women, rabbits that are carrying foetus are made to eat it! I was so shocked when I saw all this that I couldn't get myself to even apply lipstick. Since then, I check for logos and trademarks to ensure that the make-up I buy is either vegan or cruelty-free. I also encourage my friends to do so. They are expensive, but I don't mind forking out money because I don't want to use any cosmetics that have harmed other living beings."
