But this is not just anyone, Its Maya who Arjun said he hated .He shot her to prove he hated her. He should not have bothered to take her in his lap and cry like crazy feeling guilty . He kept on telling her how much he hated her and she meant nothing to him. So her being dead shouldn't have bothered him according to logic and he should have felt a sign of relief. According to what we saw for 5 years he was waiting for this moment to shoot her and even had a bullet with her name on it. There was no need for him to kiss her in front of his wife & repeat the 7th vachan.
It seemed more like after her death Arjun realized what a failure of a husband he was . The baffled look he had seeing her empty gun & his own gun dropping from his hand . Maya tricked him into shooting her. More like self realization struck him . He took those vachans but couldnt keep any.
Also how will Arjun escape jail ? He's a murderer now & his killing was not in self defense. It will have to be a police case since she was shot. Even hard core criminals get justice . How will Saanjh & co tell police they were hiding a wanted criminal in their home for 9 months to have a baby ! All should go behind bars ! Cvs didnt show Arjun & Saanjh hug in the end & give a sigh of relief that at last they were free of Maya but instead showed Arjun feeling guilty & crying.
The amount of accolades that Jennifer got after she posted her farewell post compared to the other two & also from various other fandoms it seemed Maya became more of a legend & the others looked like hypocrites. No wonder even KT had to admit that only Jenny could make grey look white . While the others managed to make white look grey very successfully 😆
